pathfinder909
i would like to know if STAR midcaps work in them then... interesting
GuzziHero
Im guessing FarEast used TM mags. They tend to be thinner than most. Â I do know that KA mags are wider than average (they struggle to fit in my M15a1 when MAG ones are fine) so thats another make you can add to the 'approved' list. Derfal5x5
Airsoft world have these on pre-order now as well.  Same as Action hobbies price for the first 100 in via air freight, not bad for £99, and even then they only go up to £115 for the next batch which is coming via Sea freight.  Might have to pre-order from AW:)
adiec
Have just pre ordered one of these from airsoft world at £99.99. From the sound of it should be real bargain as no chance of being hit for import duty:-) I wouldn't mind betting that these are going to sell out pronto. Now looking on Ebay for correct sling. ORDER ONE. DON'T HANG AROUND, YOU RISK DISAPPOINTMENT!!
DrStrangelove
I would pre-rder one from Airsoft world but their website is broke.... did notify them tho  nehoo ive already got one on preorder from rsov... if i get one from AW ill sel it to my mate.....
orangecrush
so is it full metal? judging by the pics it is. Â cheers
SwatMP5man
Yes, it is, apart from the cheek pad and stock butt which are high density rubber and plastic.
orangecrush
thanks dude I guessed those bits would be something different
fnfr3ger
haha , just noticed that RSOV has the g&g l85a2 in stock for 209 £ lol
kevshin21
Is there any airsoft shops that sell this gun in the US?
SwatMP5man
None as of yet, some may have it on pre-order but AFAIK only HK (Gunner and RSOV) and a few UK retailers have been able to get the products for sure.
otherrandomhero
Pointact does. I preordered mine when they were $118.
orangecrush
so it takes M16 mags? does that mean it will take the expendable star ones?
mr_ffox
Is there any airsoft shops that sell this gun in the US? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Evike got preorder and price is not bad too
pathfinder909
$220 on evike? Are you sure that is US retail price? that seems a bit bit high
Anachronism327
yea, that does seem a little on the high side... I mean considering it's a clone and such...
kevshin21
evike is always trying to screw people over, if not in customer service than in expensive prices. I'll wait till some other shop sells them. Edited June 22, 2007 by kevshin21
lineman66
pointact still seems to be the cheapest option stateside, but I was informed by the PA staff that the R85 may not be in until september, so something to consider before pre-ordering.
Enemy at the Gate
Hi, just to let you guys know that the AA factory told us yesterday that there is a delay of a "few days" on the production due to the fire selector not working properly. It jumps out of position when the gun is in blowback mode (just like the G&G!) so they are fixing this issue before release. *picture of 50 Chinese workers with files* Â It seems they have fixed the bolt breakage problem which plagues the G&G version but forgot about the selector.......ah well, at least it should work 100% by the time we get them.... adam888888
This gun keeps getting better and better.
DrStrangelove
everybody hates delays... unless the end result is a better built more reliable weapon.... all the kudos to them if they get it right
my_plague_666
the only thing that looks dissapointing about this gun is the fact it doesnt have a hilarious box like their AK. Â "AK47: the world's first mentally disabled rapper" Â ROFL
Enemy at the Gate
How do you know? We haven't seen the final boxes yet  Steve M
pathfinder909
yeah seriously, what was that whole mentally disabled rapper deal about?
lineman66
don't know if it's been posted before, but keith at RSOV posted an update about the situation with the R85 on his website (go to the R85 product page), if I had PP I'd definitely order from him.
