Victory
Ok, so I was looking at buying a second hand HurricanE metal body. According to the seller: "The tabs on the receiver have been filed off, but the rear one is still intact--this was done so the takedown is much easier, and this does not affect the gun--the gun is still solid." Before I take this a step further...is this true? Would sanding them off not affect the gun in any way what-so-ever besides it being easier to take down? Can someone explain this a bit further to me? And, um, yeah, how would you take down an un-modified HurricanE metal body? I only have experience with CA and Guarder... Thanks, -Vic
tinkle60
I did this to all my hurricane metal bodies and all my mates asked me to do it for them after. It is so much easier to take down (like a CA) and does absolutely not harm whatsoever. In it's original form you need to take out the grip, motor and stock to open up.
