Sledge
Just noticing the number of sales threads being closed for breaking the one joule rule, I was wondering if it would be possible to have a message pop up each time someone starts a thread in the Sales subforum? It would just need to say something like "What velocity is your gun firing at?" If the person clicked "328 fps with .2 or less" they would be free to continue. If they clicked "Over 328 fps with .2" they'd be directed to the rules, then electricuted. Or something. Not sure how practical it is, just a thought.
Carrion
wont anti popup software prevent it?
Sledge
So have it go to a page instead. Jeez, do I have to think of everything?
ED-SKaR
If you can have the program find the IP address, and find their real address, then hack the MODs nuclear arsenal. Then you are on to a winner!
Marlowe
It's not a bad idea, but if they haven't bothered to read the rules when a) registering posting or c) writing a sale advert, I doubt they'll take the time to read yet more official words. It's probably easier to let the fools spend hours writing their sales threads and have us pull them as and when they do it.
Sledge
Sadly true. So, I guess my electrocution idea is out as well?
