SlvrDragon50
Can someone please explain the terminology? Like Match, Scout?
tom lawson
for the CA, the match version is the long length version (like the normal TM M14 and the normal G&G M14), and the scout version is the shorter length version (like the TM M14 SOCOM and the G&G SOC 16) pretty much edit: the real, long length M14 is the 'Match' airsoft version, and the M1A is the 'Scout' airsoft version

squeakyL
yes, soc16 = socom 16 an M14-EBR is an M14 with a crazy rail system, pistol grip, and sliding stock
Jagdraben
SOC16 is the name for G&G's M1A SOCOM-based M14 AEG. The EBR (Mk14 Mod 0) is, IRL, a replacement stock designed by Sage and modified Crane.
tom lawson
and in case you wondered, EBR stands for Enhanced Battle Rifle..
SlvrDragon50
Ahh ok.. And are the clones actually anygood? And can you guys recommend a good brand and which shade is the best?
Jagdraben
TM is, IMHO as a Springfield Armory, Inc. M1A Scout Squad owner, the best M14 on the market. Whether or not the TM-based clones are any good... I don't know.
alexanderj
i could be crazy, but when i look at pics of the TM m14 and the Ca m14, the Ca version looks a little different, a little shorter or....chubbier..lol. know what i mean? (i just could have some eye problems)

TunerGuy
I've seen the Echo M14 recently and it was not quite up to TM standards. Obviously, the TM sets the bar really high, IMO. The Echo 1 is a good basegun, though and with a reshim and new hopup could probably please a newbie who is on a budget. At least for a little while.
Insanejoe
www.springfield-armory.com That would be worth taking a look at seeing as TM an CA make SA based guns.
