McMadkat
Well you wanted a review..... HFC M190 (M92 tactical) 2nd hand (I didn't break it, lol) This is plastic model, and shoots green gas. It is based on the TM version so most parts should be compatible. The thing I like about the M190 is the working safety catch: The rear sight is adjustable for windage as well. The trigger/hammer is a double action system, you pull the trigger and the hammer moves. This means that you can shoot the gun without having to cock the slide, just by pulling the trigger. Trades: Slide lock: The magazine. It holds about 20 rounds and takes enough gas for about 50 rounds. The gas filler. This is one of the best guns to fill as it has a rubber seal round the filler valve which stops it leaking gas everywhere. See next post for the rest:
McMadkat
Gas valve: Blow back!! By pressing the button on the right hand side of the frame an then moving this lever the gun can be field stripped. 20mm rail for adding lasers etc: The grips are quite chunky and have a nice feel to them, not square like a Glock's: So overall the build quality is high. The barrel on my gun is broken, but it must have been dropped badly. Blowback is louder than a Glock and has much more recoil. The power is very good hitting over 300fps with 0.2g. The hop-up is a bit weak, but it can be replaced with a TM one if needed. The overall range is the same as most guns, and a kill at 25m should be no problem. This gun is awesome!! I like it more than any of my Glocks because it has a comfy grip and cool blowback. It also doesn't suffer from cool down as much. Hope that helps!! McMadkat

flateric41
Plastic ? The full metal is only 99 $ and you get a very good pistol for that price. Buy the metal one ! and dump the plastic one ... Greetz, Flat.
McMadkat
Here in the UK the metal version costs £88.99 that is $171.

Antagon
Yeah jesus, he bought a plastic version, leave him alone. Nobody rips into you when you buy a TM gun with all the full metal variations out there. Good review, even though I hate HFC.
Lance Jackass
Good review but is there something wrong with your mag mate? It double stacks all the way down to the last round- looks like your about to get a stoppage lol.

McMadkat
Amazingly it doesn't matter how the mag is loaded, it fires fine every time!!! Wish I could say the same about my G18..... I could have got the full metal version, but this only cost me the same as a springer (£35).... bullzebub
How does it work in cold weather?
McMadkat
Probably the same as most guns. It seems to suffer less from cool down than Glocks do. It doesn't really like 134a gas, I run it on green.
DarkLite
Sweet mother of jelly! What the hell happened to your outer barrel?
McMadkat
Long story....heck this threads been under for months! Makes me want to buy another M190....
DarkLite
I cant complain about my HFC M9 Compy. Loves it, and for some odd reason it NEVER cools down. I've fired it in a air-conditioned room (amb Temp about 18 C) and fired 20 rounds as fast as I could. No cooldown.
McMadkat
Well I used mine outdoors (10ºC) and the top froze over with enough frost to be able to see it after 2 mags worth of fast firing!
DarkLite
Mine was the metal version, and from the pictures above it looks like the magazines are different too. Where yours has a circular "hole" to pour in bbs, mine has a triangular one...
