UMGuy
Great review, this is defienlty going to be my next rifle. You got yours from Gunner's, right? Does anyone know if it would make it through customs to the U.S.? What about RSOV? Thanks.
puntsikka
Is this the one sold in WGC Shop? There it is named as "Chinese made Thompson", or something like that.
evilliboba
Is this the one sold in WGC Shop? There it is named as "Chinese made Thompson", or something like that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep. Same one.
puntsikka
Okay, thanks. Maybe I should check this one...
kimmo69
That bar under the barrel looks the same as on the Marui one, so unless that reinforcing metal between the bar and the outer barrel is connected to the receiver, i guess it will be pretty prone to breakage, like the marui one... Noodle_2000
Great Review Darklite! You made me chuckle every now and then with the jokes and all. Good job on the review it was very in depth. As a suggestion for a future review from me would be the ELEMENT Upgrades. There seems to be a lot of interest in them but so little info. Thanks, Gary B.
Pinkfloyd
Next chinese gun to review? Any suggestions? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jing Gong AUG. I've been waiting for a proper review of it, and I'd like to see how it handles from somebody who knows what they are doing Thanks for the review BTW! Tuulos
Maybe you could review the chinese SPR when it comes, or compete with FarEast on A&K M249 review
nightfire6
Great Review Darklite, Now the only thing that would make me is a Chinese 1928 typewriter COMPLETE conversion kit that comes with a bigass drum mag.
DarkLite
Jing Gong AUG. I've been waiting for a proper review of it, and I'd like to see how it handles from somebody who knows what they are doing Thanks for the review BTW! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It just so happens that I got one the other day! Although it's upgraded already - things left in my possession usually end up tweaked and upgraded within the hour!
puntsikka
I contacted WGC Shop about the China-made Thompson and it seems that the one they are selling, isn't CYMA. Here's a copy of their reply: Dear **** *******, Thank you for your inquiry, Please be inform that this is not made by CYMA but our supplier didn't disclose the mfg of this aeg, sorry. Thanks, -- Best Regards Allen Wong WGC ( Hong Kong ) http://www.wgcshop.com Contact : http://www.wgcshop.com/contactus.htm

lineman66
Jing Gong AUG. I've been waiting for a proper review of it, and I'd like to see how it handles from somebody who knows what they are doing Thanks for the review BTW! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't really think there's a need for a review, this gun's been out for months on end and have more than proven it self to be one of the best ChiMan guns ever. Lots of information from users in the general discussion under "is the JG AUG any good????"....

Only a question, ¿¿When we can buy the Thompson 1928?? , please!!! make it now Now, it´s imposible to get the old kit of this that model.
Morden279
Uses V2 spring guides. I'm in your debt, sir. Many thanks.

Catchv22
Make the pictures smaller next time or perhaps thumbnail them. The high res isn't really necessary. Also, a picture of the barrel taken off the gun would be nice too. While they have appeared to reinforce it, it might not be reinforced in the right area.
DarkLite
If I used thumbnails, people would be complaining that they'd have to click.
evilliboba
If I used thumbnails, people would be complaining that they'd have to click. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True. You at least could make them 800x600.
DarkLite
I didn't buy a 1280x1024 to waste it all on white pixels. I know the pictures are big, but reviews require big pics.
stoferr
Hi Darklite. This is my first post in this forum, because i was just searching google for any reviews, on the Cyma thompson, and I was lucky to find your great review of the gun. But will you please make an video review of the gun, or just a review, where i see you reload the gun, and firiring it. Im very close to buy this gun, but it could be nice to see it in actin first. Anyway, great review!
Apex
DarkLite , any chance you could have words with who ever makes this and get them to make a M192 model with drum mag ?
