Ad_Enuff Posted March 7, 2005 Report Share Posted March 7, 2005 I am trying to drum up further support for getting the SA80 L85 A1 or A2 (maybe even the L86 aswell if we are really really lucky!) being made by the big manufacturers such as Classic Army, Tokyo Marui and ICS. Someone posted the ONLINE Petition page to continue support for this. I am posting it separately again to get more signatures. So if you havent already signed and you want to support the SA80 and get it made properly in full metal etc please goto to the following link. You know it makes sense! I have searched these forums but can't find one, so does anyone know of an existing petition to get an SA80 built in Airsoft? Please post here if you know. Likewise the SA80 is one of the weapons used by one of the elite active forces in the world today. Not having an SA80 for sale is like not having the M16. Link to post Share on other sites
evilhippy Posted March 11, 2005 Report Share Posted March 11, 2005 It is for us brits anway, I'm not sure how many people outside of our tiny nation (who aren't members here obviously) would recognise the SA80 But every man & boy not raised in a barn would recognise an M16 a mile off. Still no good reason why we shouldn't have them available though, I mean no-one outside our sphere of interest would recognise (by name) a sig 552, but they made them anyway! I have come to look at petitions for guns the same way i look at prayers, if you pick the right god/companie to send it to then everythings hunky dory, get it wrong and your damned for all eternity. About 30 of the threads in the technical section are about the Academy L85. There's the ASC custom one, and that one that AD sell. There are classic ones knocking about as well.
