Abelius
If you really want a ToS -impression, go absolutely for the RAID Woodland BDU instead of the DPM. Not such a big waste of money. If you use DPM, it's like saying that you play a WW2 german with an M1 helmet and a jungle fatigue suit.
niko.90
Slightly offtopic, but one thing I don't understand. It's the trouser blousing. Don't the jungle boots dry faster, when the BDU pants are bloused? You'd imagine that the cotton (oldschool ftw) on the boots dries faster, with no extra layer of cotton on them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Im not sure if I understood your point, but did you mean pants being unbloused? If you keep your pants bloused, it keeps bugs and other nasty *beep* away from your legs, but when pants are unbloused, they dry quicker.
Abelius
Ofcourse the pants themselves dry faster, when they are unbloused. Less cloth layers and so on. If they are unbloused, they cover the boots and make the cotton on the jungle boots dry slower.
niko.90
Oh yeah, now i understood your point. BUT jungle boots does have those holes on their sides, so most of the water will come out that way, and Im not so sure if pants (which isnt even thightly around boot) would slow down the drying. Abelius
Yup, I was being pretty hypothetical. Anyways, I've started letting my trousers unbloused in pose pictures.
JColt
Harness and belt with my holster on DPM. Now to order the correct size trousers (or lose weight) and to adjust all the bits, woop!
