Sledge
I'm going out on a limb here, but could we have a rule that says you're not allowed to quote something someone said, change a couple of words, and post it with the single comment "Fixed"? It was funny for a while, but it's starting to get pretty irritating, and does nothing to forward a discussion.
DynamicRabbit
I take it you've had it done to you a couple too many times. It's not that big of a deal, and the person is usually making a point.
Sledge
Actually, the person isn't making a point. They're hinting at what their point might be without having the courtesy to explain it.
Connery
Actually, the person isn't making a point. They're making a mockery of the person that they are 'correcting' and at the same time, getting around the rulebook because a few mods do it as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fixed. oshi-
PlasticMag
I take it you've had it done to you a couple too many times. It's not that big of a deal, and the person is usually making a very valid point. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fixed. w00t. I am a rebel.
Marlowe
Viper: seeing how it's not against the rules, I fail to see how any of these moderators you refer to are breaking them? Seriously though, if you have an issue with something, please just say it. It's much more productive doing that rather than just posting obtuse sniping comments.
Samm
Didn't you start it as well, Sledge?
hardboiledcop
meh, it's just one of those things. used in moderation, and at the right time, it can be quite funny. But as with most things on the internet (*ahem* "Username was something for this post") it ultimately becomes overused and not funny in the slightest, or used by members who don't even know how to be funny/are more interested in belittling somebody who can argue their point far better. Not that the "username was ..." bit has ever even registered hunour with me. Edited July 18, 2007 by hardboiledcop

Basho
<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fixed. Actually, this is fun. Thanks sledge I had not tried it before! Edited July 18, 2007 by Basho
hardboiledcop
Hey! don't mess with my emotions. -- (btw Basho, are you planning a short review on the 7 inch hardballer? )
Marlowe
As this is way off topic and unlikely to ever be made into a rule one way or the other, probably best to close this.
