Dont lose the o ring, thats your waterproofing. The batteries are a watch type 'button' style but bigger. L1154, mine say, but different manufacturers use different name codes: A76, LR44, L1154, A13, V13GA are all the same. Any watch shop should sell them. Edit2: My goof, its octagonal...
