I polished the fluted barrel, not that it'll even been seen inside the big tube. I spun the big tube using a cordless drill as a poor mans lathe and held some 400 gritt on it to get that even brushed metal look.

Unlike previous guns when I had the test fit last week I had to write a page of instructions on what order to assemble it in, there is only one way to do it.

My parents bought two new cars recently. They could have bought a lathe and Mill for the same ammount... My heart weeps ;_;

 

Seriously though, INCREDIBLE work. Absolutely stunning. Arnies needs more of these sort of things happening! :D
