merlin6823
Guys, I recently bought a g&p cqbr. Very pleased with the overall quality, but one thing that lets it down completely - the crane stock. Mine is wobbly to the point of being very annoying. Are all g&p cranes like this? If so, has anyone tried to fix the prob, and how please? Any help/info is much appreciated... Mart
-walle-
I had a similar problem with my normal G&P retracting stock, i put a piece of electric tape on each side of the stock tube.
merlin6823
Yeah I did think about that, but would need alot of tape to build out properly and that might affect the battery etc. shocking really on a £350 gun.
galactica
honestly, mine's not that bad. not wobbly. Annoying battery connectors, yes. M4 Special Forces. I have re-wired with an extended tamiya connector arrangement and i'm much happier.
Magsz
my G&P stock was rock solid. You honestly dont need that much tape unless your stock is THAT deformed. Whenever i have a stock thats too wobbly, i usually put pieces of electrical tape over the top portion of the buffer and that takes out any slack between the buffertube and the stock. You also cant see the electrical tape so its not a cosmetic faux pas.
merlin6823
Thanks for the replies. Gonna get onto A/A to see if they can replace it, mines probs a mis-form. Thanks, Mart
merlin6823
Just spoke to the guys at Airsoft Armoury. Im glad I bought it from there, just honest, decent advice from them. They said that I shouldnt be getting any movement from the crane, and to bring it back and they'll sort it. So will be taking it back in the next few weeks, and probs spending shed loads more money when I go on a new pistol etc lol... Ta, Mart
galactica
every time I walk into A2, I walk out at least £100 poorer. I am dreading the next time I am there...i'm going to do something terrible with M203s, I know it...
