Direct
Hi, Thought you guys may be interested in my curent project. Im curently working on a scratch build Barrett M82A1. Idea is to make it AEG based around small part of M4 reciver holding usual V2 gearbox tuned up to 160-170 ms ( as this are regulations in my country airsoft community) Than i started, i had body of usual CA V2 gearbox, which i needed to know dimensions and etc.. Body i used for sawing was also CA used body from m15. Later on gearbox i will use will be Pro Win 8 mm CNC machined gearbox with systema internals tuned up to 160-170 ms Inner barrel will be Prometheus 6,03 650mm Progress i made so far is: - Upper lower reciver - magazine body - Bolt - cary handle, rear handle - bipod parts - internal parts - muzzle brake - already done but no photos yet is outer barrel and its holders some photos attached. -FIDO-
amazing work!! i would reinforce the front section and back section a bit from the inside to prevent it from bending or flexing around except for that its really good work
Direct
where are going to be front and rear end reciver caps to close hexo holes.. made from 7 mm steel. I think they will work for reinforcing aswell. And anyway hexogonal tube is from 1.5 mm steel and is extremly hard in bending/twisting terms.

my_plague_666
in real steel it would be terrifying. in airsoft it would just be a fancy M4 someone should reall make an M82 with TM desert eagle HK internals in it. sure it'd be impractical, but i can think of more useful airsoft guns that the M82
