alyaspogi
hey guys question on compatibility parts between the ksc mk23 pre 2005 and the 2005 model cause i wanna buy an 150% sd spring set! will the 2005 sd spring set will work on an older version of the mk23?let me know if you have any answers cheers!!! snowman
No - the recoil spring isn't the same. The pre-2005's have two part spring and the correct style recoil rod (to dampen kick), the later ones have a straight rod and single spring because ignorant airsofters moaned it didn't have a faster enough kick before Cheers
Hades
So I take it that you are a fan of the older buffer style recoil gude. After upgraded you can make them relatively equal in cyclic speed BUT the older style will have less "harsh" recoil it doesn't have the bottom out feeling in comparison to the '05. alyaspogi
how about the hammer spring is it compatible both with the same old 2005 and 2005 model cause i trying to buy a SD 150%spring set but its sold out and i saw another SD 150% but its for 2005 model all i need is the hammer spring will this work on the older model of the mk23.... thanks

Hades
Snowman- I should still have a couple older style guide rods, wanna trade? LoL! My Pre-05 to 05 had a difference in cyclic rate after the metal slide was installed as the plastic HW was heavier thant the CNC SD slide, the 05 engine was most noticable once the slide was swapped and the Recoil spring tension was substantially increased. alyaspogi
mine is the older version the phase II abs version older recoilrod the one that has two springs

Cheers.
