Bob the Angry Potato
hmm, bob picked the wrong photo...? The knife is right below the gun, it's the only picture I had of it.

Macragge
Bob the Angry, that is some seriously good artwork there. I assume you used fake blood, but those pictures turned out ACE. A++ from me. I think I'll have to try that with one or two of my pictures if you don't mind it.
Lord Blackgoat
That pic with the blood comes from a video game, Kane and Lynch... Angel, love that blade! CRKT Corkum right?
Macragge
Ah I see! Well a good photo/artistic idea no less. Thanks for the correction. Loving these knives though.
Bob the Angry Potato
Ah I see! Well a good photo/artistic idea no less. Thanks for the correction. Loving these knives though. Haha, yeah- I was LOOKING for the knife from Kane and Lynch. Sorry, I should've made that a bit more clear. Still, I'm glad you liked it- I may do that for some of my pictures, but it's a bit... morbid. I'll recreate it if I can find the knife from that picture, I absolutely love push-daggers but would like to find one with the ring in the center (like the one I have). Also, the 552 on the M93R was done as a joke, the Eotech isn't even mine
Sasquatch
Thought I'd post a better more artistic pic: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Mor...de/IMG_7931.jpg Nice Benchmade. Just got a new 913 myself last week.
Zmarre
Smith&Wesson G10 Homeland Security Winchester Conflict II The Winchester is very sturdy and sharp, good value for the price I've paid it. Although it's a bit heavy, so the S&W comes in handy for daily wear in my pocket. It's almost as sharp as the Winchester, a bit less sturdy, but extremely lightweight. Oh, and very balanced: /edit: both are literally razorsharp, the two bald spots on my arm are witness, lol. Edited January 17, 2008 by VAN MEULDER
Jimisin73
My latest: Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn Mini Covert. Overall not a bad little combat folder for under $50.00. I've almost never been let down by Gerber products.
Husky
combat folder is an oxymoron, imho. I would never trust a folding blade, no matter how secure you feel the lock is, in a combat situation. i dont need to lose a finger or 3 while stabbing someone. Lord Blackgoat
And do you actually stab people very often? A combat knife, or any knife for that matter, IMO is a tool, not a weapon. Or a very last ditch weapon. Or when you are a sneaky SF taking opfor by surprise (but I bet they'd prefer to put bullets in someone's head rather than cutting his throat: more secure and less noisy)
BigAl
but I bet they'd prefer to put bullets in someone's head rather than cutting his throat: more secure and less noisy Don't know how you worked that one out, you must have some very loud knives.
Aitch
I just pre-ordered a Rambo IV machete, roll on next month or I get my hands on it
Lord Blackgoat
Not sure if it's allowed to discuss it here, mods please remove if inapropriate. When you cut a throat, the poor bloke will tend to disagree. Trying to produce a sound with his mouth, he'll expell air through his trache (sp?), which makes an aweful and loud noise. If you get too enthusiastic in your movement, you may even cut his carotid (sp?) veins, and make a mess. And the guy will still be trying to get away from you, potentially increasing the noise. See? Even he will regret you didn't shoot him in the head...
RacingManiac
I remember reading Tom Clancy's Without Remorse, the quietest way to knife a person was to do it like the protagonist Kelly did(he was using a USMC Ka-Bar), he stab the person at the back and at the base of the skull, instantly render the subject useless...... Husky
yea, you penetrate the 'apricot', the medulla oblongata. The body just relaxes. its what they used to train snipers to aim for.
