CAW M79 Metal Barrel

I love Vietnam weapons and always liked the M79. I would of got the CAW one a long time ago but never saw airsoft grenade launchers as being effective in airsoft games, especially one as big as the M79. Anyway I am collecting so much Vietnam era gear and think having a real wood, full metal M79 would be cool. I was even thinking about putting real M79 wood on it but just never bought a CAW M79 because of the plastic barrel (I HATE plastic). Does anyone know if anyone has any metal M79 barrels still for sale? I have a feeling they were discontinued but I just want to make sure they are all gone.

$340 is way too much, especially for a part that will only allow me to use special shells and only 8mm BBs. I would rather spend $340 on more vietnam gear or just buy the standard CAW M79 and wait for people to start producing metal barrels again. The CAW M79 seems to be getting more popular and Im pretty sure someone will make some soon.

RW has the shorter GB-Tech ones: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=17824

The full size one is listed as "out of stock," but RW doesn't always get their descriptions correct so they may be discontinued. http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=17823

Edit: Links don't seem to be working. Just search for "M79."

Edit 2: Why is this HTML ###### showing up after a fast edit?

I've been looking for one too. I have come to the conclusion, that as nice as it may be, I am not going to pay the same price for a barrel that I paid for the launcher. Instead, I will use my monehs on stupid amounts of shells.

Guarder make one which is cheaper ($192) with rifling grooves. Still not cheap but about the cheapest and the quality is great. Hard to find though, I got one by complete fluke because I googled the name and found Firesupport here in the UK had one.

Quality is very good and an easy fit although you have to be careful to avoid scratching it when you put the clamp ring on. I thought the rifling might cause a problem but with two different types of shells (Mosqiuto Moscart and Madbull 8mm grenades) I haven't had a fitting problem, the Madbull ones have some slight rattle. It's a lot nicer with the metal barrel as it makes the M79 entirely wood and metal (Except for the plastic recoil pad) and the extra weight means you can actually flick it closed Arnie style, which you couldn't do with the plastic barrel as they weren't heavy enough to push down the catch.
