Consider the 3rd party support. WA has a lot of good will that goes our way, i.e Sheriff, PGC, etc etc. So what if it's an ABS body, if you can look and see what people have done with their 1911s just imagine what 3rd party support will yield. I'm sure companies like those are gonna love cranking out part after part.

I mean look at guarder or G&P, they've made a killing off of M4 body after body, since once the intial CNC program is written with a bit of modification the rewards are really quite huge. Either way, I'm down, I want one really bad. Imagine a realistic M4 that stops firing after the last round, that takes real parts, and is 1:1. (Perhaps a kick in the *albatross* to companies like LA Gun Shop, Systema's PTW, and Escort).

OH YEAH!!!

Agreed. However I want to see also if a 3rd party, can change it from Full Auto to Burst. Like Some company did with the Auto 9 (Ksc)

This, aside from the dboy AKS74 with Modern foregrips, is definitely on my list. Until I know the price, I'll more likely being leaning toward the dboy AK AEG. And since this is plastic, price may not be that high. Although I've been told WA pistols are the most expensive and they are plastic. This saddens me... :(

lets see... PGC slide for pistol... $150... metal body which is 10x material for pistol... $1500!???

Well not really, but my point is i dont think adequate aftermarket support will be there unless it takes Marui compatable mags, hop ups, inner barrels, outer barrels, and maybe recievers.

If it can do all that than its on my list, otherwise i dont think it'll appeal to skirmishers.

Mofomilitia, I agree with you about the likely lack of support compared to their pistols. However to assume that a metal slide costs $150 due to material costs and hence a metal body will cost 10x (or similar) due to materials is totally incorrect. The cost of the cheap monkey pot metal they usually use (and even when using better quality materials) is largely irrelevant. It's the tooling costs and other costs incurred by manufacturing techniques that by far account for the seemingly high costs of these products. The fact that these are made in relatively small numbers doesn't help either.

Anyhoo, I'm getting well off topic! This gun looks amazing but WA have a pretty bad reputation with full auto GBBs - I'm thinking of the Mac 11 and the Uzi although the Prokiller wasn't all bad... KSC has a much better reputation with FA guns - proved by the fact that they still make & sell them (and they're cloned!). Good luck WA these look cool! (and hopefully TM and/or KSC may join the recent trend and really show us how its done!

Edit: Tidying up.

several have mentioned that they want the m4 to take aeg compatible mags, but I'm going to throw my vote down and hope it won't be aeg mag compatible. to use aeg mags means that the gun would lose the stop-when-there's-no-more-bbs function that is hallmark on gbb guns. It would also won't be cool where every time a mag is changed; 2-3 bbs drop out from the gun.

my only reservation is that I'm hoping the price won't be "gigant" in size.

That is just a matter of expertize. Sun Project M16 (which takes aeg mags) can be modified to have bolt stop.

Gas in the mag just will not usually be enough to effectively power a FA GBB. It can cycle the whole mag trough but likely very inconsistently to the end. GBB which takes cheap mags of new design (plastic to get keep them available) or aeg mags and external gas, thats the thing to mourn after. To those who wouldn't care for the hose could have tank in the stock. With a proper expansion chamber it could be adequate.

True, external gas offer better performance, but just because something has gas in the mag doesn't mean that it won't cycle through the last few rounds consistently.

If the prokiller can do it with a 160-ish gram slide, I think the M4 can do it with a bolt that probably weighs less than that, and a larger gas reservoir

I have a couple of KWC Non-blowback AR-15s they made ages ago. A shorter age ago they announced that they were working on a GBB Mini UZI as well as GBB AR-15 series. The Mini UZI was released (and re-released by WA), but we heard nothing of the AR-15s.

Could this be related to the KWC project we thought was abandoned already?

If anyone cares, WA supposedly has the demo version of the M4 in their Shibuya store. I'll try to stop by and get more details (pics if they let me). I think I heard the pistols come out 11/08.

That would be very nice if you could make some pics of the m4. If you are allowed can you make some pics of the new pistols too?

Certainly give us your opinion about the new WA products and certainly about their m4.

Greetings
