Revenge Seeker
I'm just really curious. It looks like a SCAR front end but the back is completely weird..
Connery
Yes, it's a SCAR.
GuzziHero
Dang, those markings really are bright red arent they?
Xaccers
It's fugly so I'm gonna go with SCAR He even looks like someone who's been forced to dance with the ugly bridesmaid at a wedding.
GuzziHero
I think a caption competition is called for. My entry: Guy smiling on the right: "He likes it. Im sure he likes it. DEAR GOD, MAKE HIM LIKE IT! Please!"
Xaccers
The guy behind him on the left "My eyes! Thank goodness! I've gone blind!"
LuckyPSD
Not entirely sure on that, look at the magwell it has what looks like a G36 style mag release.
Xaccers
Not entirely sure on that, look at the magwell it has what looks like a G36 style mag release. Indeed it does. The little bit of the stock that we can see does look to me like its from a M4. Where was the original image from?
FarEast
Thats is a H&K weapon for sure, not a FN weapon. I have a feeling its a CQC version of the
Inq Eisenhorn
Other than the rails, it doesn't look anyhting like the SCAR, or at least any pictures of the SCARS I have seen....even the fir selector markings look different?!?! I'd go for HK rather than FN, but thats just my guess!
FarEast
Scrap the 417 but its a H&K for sure.
nilz
I'm with FarEast on this one.
bRydeR
I think a caption competition is called for. "No, when I said range, I meant how far away before it stops looking s**t?"
LuckyPSD
I am going to go with my original thought, some form of G36 in a different body? Looking at the mag release and the fire select it certainly looks it.
LuckyPSD
For the caption... "In mother russia, bad clones confuse you!"
HellsAngel
The cocking handle part above the ejection port is identical to the one on the scar....
GuzziHero
Well, a google search shows that the soldier holding it is Army General Pavel Štefka of the Czech army. Militaryphotos suggests its a 'CZ-805' (obviously a SCAR mod). Do they have magazines in their army's arsenal that require that form of mag release?
Basho
I call photoshop.
Jimisin73
Could this be based on the "combat pick-up" lower for the SCAR that IIRC was supposed to be able to use AK mags? That would explane the mag release...
boxmag
Stock's all wrong for the scar. and that mag release looks like it takes g36 mags
Belladonna
i blame hk... magwell, markings, colour, and the front sight 416 long style.... R
p.briden
It looks like it could be alot of things, I thought it might be a SIG at first but there's alot of H&K about it. I did a search to try and find something about it but all I came up with was this hilarious picture of the same general; The caption was; 'Chief of General Staff Pavel Stefka introduces the new weapon of the Czech Cavalry' edit; everything I have found also suggests it is the CZ-805 http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showp...p;postcount=519 http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showt...105&page=
BigAl
Could this be based on the "combat pick-up" lower for the SCAR that IIRC was supposed to be able to use AK mags? That would explane the mag release... Kind of like that explanation, but why would they change the stock, surely al they would change would be the relavent parts to enable it to handle Ak Mags and ammo. Is it perhaps a prototype made by FN for the Cechs? Unlikely as CZ normally makes their guns.
n00bTard
Wow, it looks to have a SCAR-style front flip up sight AND a 416-style front flip up sight. WTF is this thing?
BigAl
Don't think it is the CZ-805, I recon the gun in the backgound on the pictures here with only the butt showing is the 805. If so it has a SCAR like butt, unless the one in our photo was a prototype I recon we can rule the 805 out. Clicksy.
