Noodle_2000 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Share Posted November 5, 2007 Today I cracked open my gearbox to do usual maintenance. I started to check the compression and decided to change the O-ring on the piston head with a #14. Thats when I noticed that with the #14 O-ring I was getting terrible compression, is that normal? The bore up cylinder is larger than the normal stock one. Could that be the issue? Also, what O-ring size should I be using if it is? All compression parts are Systema by the way. Sale Posted November 5, 2007 Report Share Posted November 5, 2007 Or just use the original one, if it's not worn. It may require a slight stretch, but be careful not to stretch it too much. Unnecessary friction between the cylinder and piston head isn't good either, so an oversized ring may produce a better seal but actually lower the velocity after all. -Sale Link to post Share on other sites
