Heated a piece of pvc pipe and molded to the right shape (half of an oval), cut to length, put vent holes and added the parts where it catches unto the sight block and the metal clip near the chamber. The sight block was put together using 15 different small pvc pieces glued into one, dremeled and sanded to shape. is there no way to hide the connector? You could stick a battery where the gas tube should be but this would eliminate the movement of the bolt. Another option would be to use the stock tube and the hinge themselves as the contact points/leads, but this is a little dangerous especially if you start sweating on the gun. Theres also enough space between the heat shield and the outer barrel for one of those flat lithium polymer batteries, but I have even less confidence in those. Link to post Share on other sites
