Brian™
I ordered from this website and one of the salesman, Andy helped me out with price quotes and so forth for a particular RAV vest, the Bulle MOLLE CIRAV LV Vest. Keep in mind that I reside in the U.S, ordering from the UK. They sent me a money request via paypal and I promptly paid, and when they received the payment they made a "quality check and inspection" to make sure that the order was correct since the package was going to travel so far. After waiting about 3 weeks I finally got the package and as it turned out, they sent me the WRONG vest. I have tried emailing them time after time and it's been well over 2 weeks and they still have not responded to me. I really do not want this vest, considering I paid almost $300USD for a vest that I did not want. I have emailed them asking if they can cover the postage back to the UK and send me the correct vest on their own expense since they are the ones at fault. If anyone is in contact with them or is willing to help me out, please let me know...I am growing very impatient with them. Thank you! Regards, Brian
StarMonkee
Unfortunatly mate I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the vest you ordered its clearly stated as being a CIRAS not RAV :<

StarMonkee
So you ordered the land version yet they sent you a maritime hmmm I just checked there site again and I dont see that one listed at all :E Maybe they ran out of stock of the LV and bought in the maritime instead. Have any of your emails been answered yet and that seems to be a mighty big mistake they've made

White_Rabbit
Ive had very bad dealings with this company in the past, totaly uselsess bunch. I tried to email them on a daily basis for 3 weeks with no response. In the end I called them and as I live not to far away I asked for a refund either by telephone or in person as I was more than prepared to drive to get my refund, the at first refused untill i threatened legal action too and then suddenly I got a refund !! My advice is call them dude, I know its pricey from the states but may get it shifted a long quicker. P.S. I have that same vest you want for sale lol
Brian™
Any luck? I fear I have been screwed also Not yet What is your dilemma with them? Ive had very bad dealings with this company in the past, totaly uselsess bunch. I tried to email them on a daily basis for 3 weeks with no response. In the end I called them and as I live not to far away I asked for a refund either by telephone or in person as I was more than prepared to drive to get my refund, the at first refused untill i threatened legal action too and then suddenly I got a refund !! My advice is call them dude, I know its pricey from the states but may get it shifted a long quicker. P.S. I have that same vest you want for sale lol Yeah it's funny when I inquired about buying they immediately responded, but when I emailed them about problems and a refund they took at least 3 weeks to send one response. They only write 3-5 words per email too so it's getting no where. I do wish to call but I'm not quite sure how to dial their number and I tried googling it but it's still confusing. Plus like you said it's a bit pricey here in the states. I would buy the vest but I'm going to a desert loadout now
dechande
I bought a load of guns and gear a couple of days before the vcra came into act, I got a good deal and it was to help Andy Coleman (Ironclad owner) out. He arrived at my house with the stuff, there was boxes of it, several things were missing, some he knew about and said he would send on and some he didn't know about that I found missing after he had gone. I emailed, called left messages etc. I've had a lot of stuff from this guy, he is slow but always comes through, this time, however, he's gone silent... I'm still leaving messages on his phone and emailing every few days. The next step I suppose is to give him a deadline, after which I have to speak to authorities? I'm very upset about it as I have used him and helped him out many times.

I'm very upset about it as I have used him and helped him out many times. I didn't think that Ironclad sold guns anymore? If he a local and you can get into direct contact, please put in a word about me too haha. Being in the States is such a disadvantage, I tried calling but no luck. I tried to file a paypal dispute but the buyer protection program wasn't available with this particular sale so now I'm pretty much screwed. He asked me to mail the vest to a customer that is also in the states to avoid any markedly high shipping rates, and he said he would refund immediately. It's been over a month since I did that and still have yet to receive a response from him. So now I am basically without the vest and still have not been refunded... Maybe it's time to take legal actions yes?
White_Rabbit
I say yes mate, dont give him the benifit of the doubt, if it takes you starting legal procedings to get your money then thats what it takes.
creepingfear
Dunno whether this is relevant as you're in the States and he's in old Blighty, but maybe if you contacted the Trading Standards office for his area you might get some progress. This is the main Trading Standards website - http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/index.cfm (remember his postcode is PE12 9RH for the office locater near the top) and I believe this is the one for his area - http://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/section.asp?catId=2364
Brian™
How would I proceed with the information that you posted?
creepingfear
I'd start with an email first and see what happens. Granted being in another country does make it a bit tricky.

Maybe it's time to take legal actions yes? He sold me the guns pretty much on the 31st of Oct, just in time for the VCRA. He isn't local to me, he always sends me the stuff I buy from him, on this particular occasion (our last deal) he was in the area and brought the stuff to me. I've emailed him some more with no luck. Like I said before, normally I would have defended him as he's normally slow but comes through in the end. Seems like he doesn't come through anymore
Brian™
So what is the worth of the merchandise that you are missing? I sent off an email to the Trading Standards this morning, hopefully I'll get a quick response (as opposed the Andy's response times)
dechande
So what is the worth of the merchandise that you are missing? It was a bulk buy deal, about £700 total. I'm missing about £70ish of stuff. Let me know if you have any joy with the trading standards.
Brian™
Trading Standards said that they do not deal with situations such as mine but they fowarded my email to their civil advice colleagues. It's been quite a few days without any further response so I am growing worried. I am beginning to lose hope..
joeking27
Phone calls work wonders, they're much harder to ignore than emails. You want to dial 011 44 8708504856 011 is the international bit, dialling from the US 44 is the UK and the rest is the number I pulled of their website
dechande
Trouble is, they never answer the phone, so you leave a message, but they never get back to you!
Brian™
Good news, Andy finally came through. I got my refund, although 35USD short. I still have 2 of their Molle Pouches though so I guess it makes up for it. I do wish the wish the best for all you others to have your problems fixed! Until then, I am off to buy a new vest..
