chris u'5 Posted December 2, 2007 Report Share Posted December 2, 2007 I need to get some new grip screws for one of my WA 1911s. The screws I currently have are just to short to catch the thread of the bushings so I am unable to tighten the screw. I believe that the very top of the thread has slightly worn away, the grip screw will screw into the thread when I remove the grip. Does anyone know if real steel grip 1911 grip screws are a standard size or any longer than the grip screw provided with WA 1911s? I was planning on picking up a set of Wilson grip screws from Midway UK but I was hoping someone could tell me if it was worth it. Hopefully they are a bit longer than airsoft grip screws (yes, its a long shot!) Thanks. Link to post Share on other sites
