Question for your Retro / Vintage / Old School webbing users!

I'm looking into a Stalker ( the game ) build and I've chose to use a webbing.

Now Flecktarn.co.uk and ASMC.de are my only 2 websites I've found old webbing systems, and they do not carry AK pouches ( I don't thing the G36 pouches will shut close, will they? )

They're also made by Miltec, and I despise that company.

So where can I get rugged/ decent old webbing which can accept AK mags?

I would prefer faded OD, an old camo type ( like german WO II ) or Tan.

I will try and run trough flea-markets :)

Nice work. I haven't used my PLCE in absolutely ages, might dig it out and have a tinker with it, ready for my next skirmish on Saturday. I've been so used to using my Warrior 901 rig that I've forgotten how fun PLCE is to use.

Just out of interest, what's that thick cable I often see wrapped round the pouches on a PLCE loadout? Bungee cord?

That may end up being a fair bit of weight, it's hard to say really until you try it but I think that could end up potentially being rather uncomfortable after a days' skirmishing. Considering they're fairly cheap and don't really add any weight or bulk to your gear I'd be using suspenders with that lot, obviously folks on here have different preferences but personally I like to be able to distribute a bit of the weight to the shoulders.
