Touchette
...snip... What brand are those holsters? Specfically, what's the model on the tan one? Will it run a doublestack, railed, w/ full dust cover too?
Delta_1
What brand are those holsters? Specfically, what's the model on the tan one? Will it run a doublestack, railed, w/ full dust cover too? There IMI mate I think G1098 stock them.
bladerunner168
They are indeed IMI holsters, and the pistol in the tan one is a SFA Operator Full Rail. The only other pistol I've tried in it is a Kimber Desert Warrior.
Roecar
I've used this belt on the field, carbine classes, ISPC steel shooting. It works great havent looked at anything else since. - HSGI suregrip beltpad - HSGI cobra belt - HSGI pistol TACOs - HSGI X2R TACO - BAE Eclipse dump - Safariland 6004
validtumoralarm
My backordered Tyr Tactical Gunfighter's Belt showed up today. I'll be testing it in the field tomorrow, but my first impression is that it's VERY nice. I don't carry enough ammo on my belt to warrant a full MOLLE belt setup, so this seems like a good middle ground for me. I'll find out tomorrow if it bounces up over my hips when I run like MOLLE belts tend to do. Better pictures will come. I just moved into my dorm and haven't unpacked my camera yet. Agent Hunk
How is that BFG dumper? Here's my revised first line. BHI MOLLE Panel. First Spear G17 double. SDS speed reload pouch. ATS dump pouch. High Desert Custom Kydex holster for G17 with TLR1
validtumoralarm
It isn't BFG, it's an EGL Loppy.
ManMarin3
Modified my first line temporarily for geological field work, thought I might as well share HSGI sure-grip belt. HSGI tacos and flyye dump pouch already on belt, other pouches shuffled from other bits of kit.
TerranCmdr
Nice! Really cool to see a crossover to real-world use!
dog_soldier13
Can someone recommend a good belt that will fit someone with a 28 inch waist? I am currently using an old alice belt which is good and all but is a little too wide for some of my gear.
Megalomaniac
I run an EMDOM-MM CM Duty Belt in small and it fits me at a 27" waist.
scorch
My blast belt gets crossover when I go hill walking. Large utility pouch for sammiches, double stanag mag pouch for choccy bars, canteen and bottle pouches, smoke grenade pouch with orange smoke (just in case) and frag pouch for camera. gisburn20
Latest incarnation of my belt kit, this is my first Molle belt/pad. I used to just use a normal duty belt with a length of 50mm velcro slapped on underneath to stop the molle pouches moving about, this seems better, Although the holster leans off the belt a little so I might have to modify that section of pals loops. Left to right Pantac double univeral mag pouch (I run either M4/Masada or a TM M14 Socom, this fits both style mags) WAS Double pistol mag pouch WAS Double M4 TMC zipped utility (nice pouch but needs some elastic loops inside to secure everything) WAS Double M4 WAS Molle holster (takes my AA MEU/ TM G17 / HK3 PX4) All on a TAS Belt pad, need to replace the Viper belt with something more rigid though. Isamu
Saw a couple of setups with BlackHawk Quick detach bases, how good are these? comfortable? make the holster too separate from the belt? is it low profile? Thanks for the feedback

Philbucknall
Here's my new rig. 5.11 operator belt with LFI kydex holster and mag modules
titchikov
Kojak-did you have any problems with the rubber melting while making the sheath?
kojak
Not at all; I don't have a surface thermometer, but while painful to handle with bare hands the Kydex is not hot enough to cause a burn when fresh out of the oven. It's molded to the knife in a press, and doesn't transfer much heat to it since it cools rapidly.
J.J.Simpson
Maybe you can make a set or two I would be in
