rhino
a film of the series! Oh Noes! New pics of "Kitt" I'm off to soak my eyes in some water (they burn!)
Samm
That's not a Pontiac...
NeoVeNoM
That's not a Pontiac... I wonder what the turbo mode will look like? On second thought, i don't.
Marine47
I didn't read about it...but isn't that just a supercharged mustang? aka cobra?
screamin_weasel
apparently, its been re-styled to look more like the original car. now....im not being funny, but if i was concerned about making it look like the original, but wanted something more modern, im pretty sure i could come up with a starting point a bit better than an enourmous, blocky, hellishly chunky mustang. a corvette for example, even a *fruitcage* Ford Proton. jesus, there cant be many cars that look more out of place than the mustang does. creepingfear
That is one beauty of a car!
Connery
Good thing Gene isn't here to see this.
rhino
didn't they make a spin-off series of the original series where there were different vehicles that could talk (team KITT or something?)
Samm
shhhh i dont know what youre talking about shut up
rhino
Out with it! You've blabbed now... you'll have to admit that whatever the show is you've probably got it on DVD by now
Stealthbomber
Why is it that modern film-makers feel compelled to "update" everything? TBH, Knight Rider without The Hoff and a TransAm that talks with the slightly effeminate voice of that guy off St Elsewhere just isn't Knight Rider. Go back and do it again. Properly this time. RacingManiac
Even a new Camaro would be more suitable than the Mustang....at least keeps it an F-body instead of going to the stang.....
cazboab
Its not the first ford knight rider. There was a mad maxish movie called knight rider 2010, and a lot of the cars in team knight rider were ford. Both those blew chunks.
Spudgun
Oh dear. That car is almost as bad as the Ford that was built to replace the Roll Royce (FAB 1) in the 2004 film 'Turkeybirds'. In summary: Films+Ford= Fail.
cazboab
Except Mad Max's car, that was a ford and look happened there, wrecked the ford and then beyond the thunder dome happened.

Shard
That really does look ###### doesn't it ! It's also pretty laughable when they say they kitted it up to resemble the original too. A wedge of cheese painted black, fitted with a strobing red led board and four wheels would be closer than that Mustang.
StarMonkee
Excuse me while I go and cry to myself quietly in the corner about this
Xaccers
still looks better than Knight Rider 2000's KITT (but then, that's not saying much)
colwombat
In summary: Films+Ford= Fail. +20 Fords on all counts fail, but in movies, more fail.
