Antagon
Wow...brain..shutting...itself..down...trying..to..read..post. #1. Is the M1A full auto? No #2. Go stand in a feild and let me shoot you with an M1A? What? you refuse? I thought so #3. TM is making an AEG, this is a GBB...I hate AEGs.
Johannes
It must be much cooler have and use a gbb rifle instead of an aeg. Cause blowback is much more realistic than having a motor to drive the system, and like the ye mp5 and sp m16a1 you get recoil
Longhairedhippy
I hereby announce a collection I am taking up to get spike a speech tutor. But seriously, GBB is far superior to AEG. read almost any topic in which myself or antagon post to understand this.

Antagon
I'm just saying, just because the real version is cheaper, doesn't mean its what I (we) want. I wan't a gas airsoft M14, nota real steel M1A. I replied in your thread, no thanks, not really after a G36 at the moment, sorry.
Longhairedhippy
I hear the "real steel is cheaper" thing a lot, and I can understand it to a degree. Some people think of airsoft as a means of getting guns they could never afford or be allowed to own in the first place (which is one of the reasons the japanese invented it). But there are those that just like airsoft for what it is. Those people are the kind that would choose the airsoft version. The thing is, there are thousands of real m14s and its variants just floating about. however, when I drop $1800 for the GBB m14, I know I will be one of a very small number of people. BTW, a real M1-a is $1830 MSRP from springfield armory.
Catchv22
Yes... the nice thing about airsoft is, it's not exactly considered 'lethal'. For that price, having a weapon you can shoot at your friends with some added realism of a blowback system would be quite nice. Not only is it exotic, it's probably fun to shoot. I'd chip out for one of those if I could. And Longhairedhippy is right, real M1As cost around 1800 so they're not that cheap either.
