I could have sworn i saw pics of soldiers wearing the alpenflage and using 550s. Do you know what a correct weapon would be for the standard soldier?

Alpenflage was mostly used with the Stgw 57 (SIG 510)

Maybe you came across a picture where a soldier was acting as an "enemy"

Especially in the 90ties this was sometimes done during bigger exercises..

I like it because its different and i got the whole kit for less than 70 dollars.

Well in Switzerland people running around Alpenflage usually are considered being noobs or kiddies. It's even cheaper here.

man, that AIMS is sexeh. How're you liking it so far? Don't mean to derail, just curious how VFC's done on their newer pieces, my only experience has been the 74u. [love it though]

Pretty awsome. The AIMS stock, but its's fairly accurate stock. Nice ROF and shoots around a constant 330 FPS. If you want some of the best AKs, go VFC. Wont be dissapointed. ^^
