Belladonna
all things aside, atleast the marines are proud of thier unit and training.... and i thought as much usafcajun.... SCAR is far too new for the airforce to get thier hands on when even the seals arnt using them exclusively... R
PCA_PJ
I agree, again my main reason for using the SCAR is because I dont have the funds to buy another gun right now lol.
Siygess
Don't worry, I'm in the same boat as you. Externally, my M4 is not even remotely PJ spec.. but it's going to cost me close enough to £100 to upgrade it (and that's with ACM parts!). Buying an entirely new M4 would probably work out cheaper, but that's not possible right now thanks to the pesky VCRA and my local site's policy on membership
Belladonna
ivce seen airforce and pj guys using m4s from standard m4 upto ris rape city... so its not too big a deal R

Belladonna
does that set of trademarks actually exist ?
Gliderrider
It would be nice, but it is just another Armalite to get for each US Forces loadout isnt it?
Belladonna
looks a little bit chinese, and a lot cheasy...
Skodajocky
does that set of trademarks actually exist ? Not in the "real world". Those are purely commercial markings from G&P. The real ones wears Colt AR-15 markings + GUU-5 engraved afterwards. If you want to see real Airforce's armalite markings , read this page.
The Crunchy Bunny
I want to get a Modern PJ loadout together and I want to use a Eagle Chest rig over a PACA and I'm wondering what color would be better? Khaki or OD (do they make them in ranger green even)? And how crucial is a rappeling harness to the loadout?
PCA_PJ
Coyote Brown would be best if your using DCUs or BDUs, and a rapelling harness is pretty important, since otherwise it's hard to distinguish a PJ loadout from anything else.

The only other way is to wear an HPC
Siygess
Yup, to my knowledge no one else is using them right now apart from PJ's.. or at least, no one else is being issued them. Talking of HPC's.. mine still hasn't turned up. I think the frickin' USPS ate it. Neither has my Camelbak BFM, which the USPS also seem to have misplaced so my PJ loadout is still no closer to completion
The Crunchy Bunny
For a harness would something like this work? I don't feel like spending the big bucks on a piece of useless gear that has no function in airsoft.
Gliderrider
Cant see why not, but check out a climbing store, they might be able to tell you where to get a really cheep one, I just got one from a local scout group that were updating their kit and were trying to raise some money. Also came with a few different desenders and carabiners.
Bronco5150
I've seen quite a few PJs with blackdiamond harnesses, they're pretty cheap.

PCA_PJ
Ya that would probably be ok, check out REI.com's harnesses, as well as just type in harness on ebay, you'll be able to get one for less than $30 for sure.
