My nearly finished M16 SPR. Everything internally is done. Just needs an M3 scope, bipod and QD adapter.

Apologies for the grainyness, taken with not much light.

I'll post some more pics up when it's finished and I have better lighting.

Component list thus far:

> Based on a JG M16A3

> G&P M16A3 steel reciever set incl. metal gearbox and hop unit.

> Prometheus spring

> Prometheus 6.04 tightbore

> Guarder cut off lever

> Guarder trigger guard

> Systema selector plate

> Systema Area 1000 piston

> D-Boys SPR front end

> Samuri PRI front flip-up sight

The JG cocking handle is a bit stiff and doesn't always return. Anyone know if a KA cocking handle will work any better?

Bored so I'll throw my ###### up, lol...

Crane holds the battery, PEQ actually works really nicely too I may add, and it's whats inside that counts...

After many hours of dremeling, checking, sanding, checking, ******************, and then checking again... I finally got the generation 2 black PGC ProWin gearbox to fit and work inside of her. hoo hoo hooooooo boy is it nice too!! lol

Kinda miss my old generation 1 blue PGC ProWin though... :( Maybe I'll have to build another M4 series to fit it into.

Little blurb about it...

Currently waiting to see if the Escort boxes ever come out, if so one will be plated inside of the body.

Outer barrel is a 2 part convertible outer barrel made by Echo1 USA... It can be a 10.5" or 14.5" outer barrel, all I have to do is screw on the attachment piece... I'm actually very impressed with it too for being "lower end" stuff (lower end imo).

RIS is a real steel Surefire M73 RIS system that I acquired from a good friend (ho ho hoooo boy is it ever nice too).

Other than that, the externals are pretty plain to see and explain to yourself... It's just light and quiet as can be, lol

Sadly until that Escort box comes out, it's in need of a battery bag... Instead of the bag I took a M4 mag shingle and zip tied it to the stock with removable zip ties.

I have to hit the rail covers with a little bit of tan or brown to darken them up a bit too.

Nice old gun there mate. I'd dump the little suppressor though it's to modern for the style of the gun and the folding front sight is a bit poinles on an A2.

Cheers :)

Yeh, I need to switch back to the 509 barrel...the suppressor is there to hide a 590 one. The PRI sight is on because I broke the original by tightening the grub screw(!), but Im going to put a normal foresight back on.
