Big Texas
Why do people insist on attacking their guns with sandpaper then calling it chromed? Because those pictures were prior to mirroring the slide which was sold shortly after completion and alas, no photo's.
IronWolf
Just spotted this little gem on yahoo auctions, this is not mine: Current price: 2,681.78 USD Anyone know if this is the one Clarence Lai made a few years back, or is it made by another gunsmith? Also, the barrel seems blocked. Is this due to its power output exceeding .98 joules or is it possibly a de-act (which I find hard to believe, but who knows)?
SamJacksonFan
SamJacksonFan: is this the one you are looking for? http://www.boomarms.com/sc/viewproductdeta...?ProductID=1358 Yeah, pretty close, the closest I've seen so far. Boom Arms seems to push quite a bit with new products. I'll have an eye on that. Thanks . @ GrimGram: Detonics is pretty small … well, short is the better word. In a male's hand the grip only covers hardly half of palm. The only issue I didn't buy it yet (hands too big ). It is a perfect concealed carry gun. Sorry I can't offer pictures. I know one of Supreme Co's gunsmiths made the Tiki kit back around 2003-4. .was about $1600-2000 for the kit. . . one of my favorite Infinities ever
the cleaner
magna full metal wilson 1911, almost tops your wilson professional? why is old people so hard to please oh yeah? well your thumb safety is "yellowing" ok. .now show me a full metal Wilson Tactical Supergrade Compact. .w/ Wilson trades on a compact frame
hitmanNo2
That Tiki is most likely a Prime kit that came out a while ago. You don't see them that often, pretty rare. As for the blocked barrel. It's because your not allowed full metal airsoft pistols in Japan. So it has to be sold with piece of metal rod in the barrel.
wwjkc
okay, the infinity tiki, it's around $1800 if clarence have time and make it, I asked him b4 if you just want the kit, $2400, the airsoft shop called sanko in japan have it http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/~gssanko/tikihyb.JPG The cleaner, you want more wilson combat supergrade pics that doesn't belong to me, here you go: http://www.media-juggler.co.jp/~tak/dronpa...0118_SCWc-1.jpg http://www.media-juggler.co.jp/%7Etak/dron...0118_SCWc-2.jpg Edited March 5, 2008 by wwjkc

BigAl
Because those pictures were prior to mirroring the slide which was sold shortly after completion and alas, no photo's. It's still just polished though, it's not chromed unless it has been electrplated.

Can anyone of you sympathetic fellas post a few pictures of the detonics being carried? Perhaps even reloaded? Thanks a bunch! heres mine from a few pages back, ill take a pic of it next to my 1911 when i get back home if i remember, But its about the same size as a G26 http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c221/1st...45acp007jpg.jpg
hkssr20det
KSC M945 w/ Metal Slide.
SamJacksonFan
Interesting one … is kind of a niche model within the 1911s, like the Sig GSR, that has something own to it, too. How does the KSC M945 perform? Read good points and negative points on it. Edited March 7, 2008 by SamJacksonFan

hkssr20det
How does the KSC M945 perform? Read good points and negative points on it. To me it shoots OK. Nothing really special. I know Snowman loved the trigger feel, but mine doesn't feel that good. I am spoiled by having almost all of my personal guns upgraded. One thing is the stock recoil spring is way too weak. Had to swap to the Carom Shot one right away for the loading nozzle to clear the feed lips. Bit of a drag, but usual for a KSC gun with a metal slide.
SamJacksonFan
Ok, thanks. A mixed bag so to say.
dannyboy
I know Snowman loved the trigger feel, but mine doesn't feel that good. You know the trigger is adjustable right?

charliecloud
KSC 945 with full metal kit upgrade, upgraded springs, tightbore barrel.Improved fit and location of the mags gives good blowback and power. Superb trigger on this version.
SamJacksonFan
Improved fit and location of the mags gives good blowback and power. Nice, did you have to "improve" yourself or did the better position automatically come with the metal frame? Edited March 9, 2008 by SamJacksonFan
amateurstuntman
I love that metal 945, if you loose your mind don't forget to post it to me. Here is my WA Series 70, a bit cheeky but I want to swap it for a Marui 1911 if anyone is up for it. Heres the sales thread: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...howtopic=138231 Thanks all.
