Hey there, 1911 experts! I'm planning on doing a cosplay for a certain anime character, and would like some help trying to find an airsoft pistol that looks similar to this one:

That picture shout's Automag III, IV or V to me. See here.

Edit: IIRC Tokyo Marui make or made a springer version of it.

I think Youre wrong. Look at slide catch and thumb safety. Modyfied Hardballer with different trigger guard shape and few small details to me :)

I'd say closest you can get with off the shelf parts and have it be a GBB is Prime AMT Hard Baller slide with Prime Caspian Racing Type 2 frame. Gives you a 1911 with long slide, square trigger guard, and integrated magwel. Would run you about 1k shipped, that's for a stock WA longslide, Prime longslide kit, and Prime caspian kit. Even then you wouldn't have the porting, for that probably figure whatever it would cost to have someone with a machine shop make a custom ported barrel with integrated front sight for the longslide, as well as do the cut on the Prime slide to have the barrel fit.

Or, you can buy a Marui Automag III springer for 44.95 and pretend it's the same thing.

Bottom image clealy shows a compensator built into the barrel, not the slide.

Other images make it look like a very long 1911. You'll never build something that has both features.

I'd say this for a short version:

Metal frames gonna be difficult unfortunately. You could always get any old one and polish both the slide and frame to make them match.

Truth is, you'll never make an airsoft gun (from currently existing aftermarket parts) that looks like that. Not least because you've shown us 5 different images, where the gun seems to keep no set apearance. This sort of thing probably belongs in project discussion by the way.

Hey guys. I have a picture to request. Can anyone take a photo of your 1911 that has Nova Kimber type beaver tail grip safety from straight on side view?(not angled) I quite like the angle of beaver tail on Hicapa 4.3 dual and was wondering whether Nova Kimber type would have the same angle.

Thanks in advance.

Well the one that i've have is the high capacity 1911, so its double stacked magazine and the magazine fits the 5.1 gun, i don't know if the 4.3 and baby 3.8 have the same as teh 5.1 but they'll probably fit.

nice finnish, and a solid grip, might be a bit to big for my hands. but it'll work. the saftey is nice, since it's easy to switch off and on.

but its mostly like a 5.1 but only right handed saftey and a 1911 model of course.

and there is NO rail.

anyone know if i can fit a LAM or flashlight for the 1911 models? like the SWAT teams have.

The cheapest option is the King Arms pistol laser mount, which basically is a rail mount that attaches to the trigger guard. Slightly more expensive is a real steel dawsons rail or similar device, which requires you to drill some holes in the frame in order to attach securely, then there are the really expensive options which go from about twice as expensive as your actual pistol to as much as 6 times as expensive, namely the Surefire MR07 mount on the cheap end, and the 310 and 610 on the expensive end (where you pay a premium because they're relatively rare and discontinued).
