masakarijoe
oh, ok. the real ones are just like you have it now, and i like that look. i also like it because im a righty, and dont need that other side to get in the way. that is one reason why i got the TLE/RL instead of the warrior -Joe

mrbishi
My KJW 1911a1 with sanded slide and pachmyres, had upgraded recoil & hammer spring but reduced gas efficiency condiderably, single stacks are a bit of a pain that way.
Zmarre
Kicks as hard as a friend's TM Desert Eagle 'hardkick', shoots incredibly strong, and still empties two mags with one load of gas. Western Arms are not that bit of pain apparently

Zmarre
is the non-kimber plastic? if it is it looks very well indeed. Yeah, the Kimber is a full metal kit (prime if I recall correctly), but the standard all silver Colt Gov Series 70 is bog-standard WA plastic. I had a teammate once play with it for half an hour, after which I told him it was a standard plastic gun, and it took him another half an hour to believe me

crump3t
Really? I was actually a bit disappointed with how plastic-y my silver Ser 70 felt. Very crisp blow back though. I've been on the hunt for a prime kit ever since... absolutely love silver 1911's.

ViciousV10s
Zmarre - Did you happen to get that CDP from Jerry(WWJKC)? Looks exactly like my old one I sold to Jerry and built myself... http://www.drglocktavius.com/gallery/v/Kim...DPII/?g2_page=3 I've wanted this thing from the first time I saw it but could never afford it. By far one of the top 3 favorite GBBs Ive ever owned. After some proper tuning and adjustments it's shooting like a dream. I'd like to upgrade a few more internals if I ever have the money to spare. I think I may need to sell my standard class TM 4.3 2011 now... WA Kimber Ultra CDP II (if only I still had my full size CDP that I sold to Jerry, what a pair they wouldve made) Edited October 29, 2008 by ViciousV10s
