SamJacksonFan
Well, you get what you pay for … and the cheaper it is, the more potential for positive suprises ly in it. If you buy a $240 priced Western Arms you expect the best … with much potential of dissapointment. With an all metal budget GBB for less than 150 bucks this thing is supposed to have some issues. And it could outperform your keenest dreams. Though I'm a fan of Marui, KSC and Western Arms. And I's buy this Wilson Combat (… if for the nice looking grips ). Have fun with your Wilson, blackshadow Edited September 4, 2008 by SamJacksonFan

NegativeCambre
Did you post that in the 1911 thread because it doesn't have the 2011 separated grip/receiver? I guess my question is when does a 1911 stop being a 1911 and become a 2011?
wwjkc
WHEN it's a double stacker and have plastic grips this is a single stacker so it belongs here
masakarijoe
yeah, id still technically consider it an M1911... but barely. looks cool, but it would probably fit better in the 2011 thread. nontheless, it does look very professional and well done. -Joe
ViciousV10s
it IS a 1911....and a sick looking one at that

birchm
Did you post that in the 1911 thread because it doesn't have the 2011 separated grip/receiver? I guess my question is when does a 1911 stop being a 1911 and become a 2011? It doesn't have a modular plastic lower frame, therefore it is not a 2011. The only defining aspect of a 2011 is that it has a modular design with a plastic lower frame and metal upper frame.
TrooperX
Hi all - just after a bit of advice. Is the KSC full metal 1911A1 basically this.... http://www.justpistols.co.uk/kwa1911.htm ...but with trades? Other than that review I've not been able to find much more than a few short comments. Anyone got the KSC full metal that could comment on is skirmish-worthyness? I'm assuming the KSC would be a better choice over the WE? And just out of interest - can you buy the Gilded V12's brand new anymore or were they limited editions? Thanks in advance. Edited September 8, 2008 by TrooperX

masakarijoe
so, ive realized that the custom aluminum blowback chamber that was installed on my MARSOC by the previous owner (said it cost $182) isnt my style... i like more recoil. so, anyone got a stock TM M1911 blowback chamber they want to trade? since i have upgraded recoil springs, having a stock blowback chamber as opposed to my current one wont degrade performance, will it? -Joe
Romulus
It will probably lower the efficiency a bit since the slide will be heavier. Shouldn't be any major change though. I also dropped you a PM about a potential deal.
