masakarijoe
i believe that they are colt magazines. but i will be buying a few chip mccormick magazines in the future, as well as a few more kimber mags. those Colts were bought by me secondhand for very little, so that i have some magazines. the light is AMAZING! i considered crimson traces, but these grips are just so freaking comfortable! -Joe Edited November 14, 2008 by masakarijoe
Matt0311
I like the grips the most. How much was it if you don't mind me asking.

masakarijoe
thanks ive been looking around at some crimson trace grips (as suggested above) but there arent any that i like... they are all just too plain. i wish they made a rubberized fingergroove version. ill stick with these for now, but if crimson trace or another company comes out with something like that... then maybe -Joe
ruvon
my new "tool" technically, it does fire using gas... but a different kind sorry if i shouldnt post it here... but i figured you guys would want to see it, and maybe replicate it: the perfect pistol. -Joe Joe, The only difference is my replication is going to be the desert Warrior, but nice piece just the same. I love the grips! Did you get those straight from Kimber, as I was pricing them on the Kimber website, and for the price, I'd order mine from there. Can't wait till the wife gets back from BCT/AIT with her pistol permit! That's going to be a good time! But if I know her, she's probably going to want to get a Beretta first, cause that's what she's "using for work". But I think I can convince her that a Kimber is good to own too! But nice pic...
hardboiledcop
Hogues are pretty good on 1911's, they round off the grip for those used to say, beretta size grips. also, please don't quote pictures, just remove the image tags ta.

ruchik
Just a quick question: is the WE Wilson Combat a replica of any actual gun? I can't seem to find a 1911 with that particular rail.
BigAl
The clue is in the name; Wilson CQB
ruchik
Well I had already seen that, but my question was whether it was a replica of any specific 1911: that particular Wilson Combat doesn't have the same rail.
blackshadow
As far as i can tell its a really just a standard CQB Elite with a light rail, it looks like Wilson doesn't actually produce them like that (normally) though i would assume it is possible.
ruchik
Hmm. Does anyone know if the Socom gear MEU can accept TM 1911 mags? Not too much a fan of the mag bumpers.

masakarijoe
are there lasers made for real M1911s to fit in the recoil rod? i know this is an airsoft forum, but i figured id ask. id rather keep my hogue grips and put a laser in the recoil rod instead of getting crimson trace grips -Joe
ruchik
I believe you would be looking for the Lasermax lasers. They replace the guide rod. Since the Socom Gear MEU is a WE, does this mean that TM slides, stock or aftermarket, will fit it? Looking to turn it into a Kimber...
