ViciousV10s
I think that V12 looks sexaaay.
baias6230
Thank you guys. I really like how it looks with this grips and i'm not intending to change them; how you say it gives a clean look. Anyway thanks..
birchm
Very nice looking, though not too sure on the smooth Ivory grips, i would say woods or black synthetic would be better. Â Agreed, the ivory grips make it look too light, pasty even. Like an albino 1911.

junior
For some reason I think a magwell would look good on that V12. Â Â Edited January 5, 2009 by junior
FireKnife
Oh good god no, those extanded mag well things look awful to be honest. Â 'FireKnife'
baias6230
I agree with FireKnife. Don't get me wrong i like magwells but i don't think it looks good on this one. Edited January 5, 2009 by baias6230
FireKnife
Thanks lol, Â Have to be honest i am the kind of guy that seems to prefer his 1911's old style, that's why i put a one sided, non-extended safety on my MEU and gave it wood grips at one point. Â There is something about classic 1911A1's that really make me interested, with the odd exception of the ZG-51 Pitbull, the Duo Tone Auto-Ordnance and the Detonics MC1. RacingManiac
V12 is freaking sweet.....makes me want to get a silver 1911...
Apache137
wow, thats a beautiful v12.... best silver 1911 i've seen to date... second best period next to racing maniacs SFA Â the only thing that looks funny is the rear sight.... not likin it too much perhaps a novak style would be better? Edited January 6, 2009 by Apache137
baias6230
I prefer Bomar sights over Novak. I think they are the best and they fit perfect with 1911's. Also even if i want to put Novak sights i cant because i don't have the right cut. Edited January 6, 2009 by baias6230
BigAl
Gotta agree the Bomar is THE sight for a 1911.
FireKnife
Nah, old style notch and speed bump for the win. Â I mean in airsft it ain't going to put a shot miles out and on target (barely does in the real world) so why the fancy sights. Â But if it was a Novak or Bomar toss up i would go for the Novak's (lo type like the MEU). Â Finally, my best backup with me again: Â Â 'FireKnife' Edited January 6, 2009 by FireKnife
RacingManiac
I think Bomar makes sense for a gun like a full size V12, which to me is kinda like a racy gun...

ChrisWPA
Got my detonics, :] Once grips comes I will have pics up. Â I dont even know if I want a metal slide anymore, the stock tm slide is very nice. Â If I did get a metal slide would a spring guide be required? Â Â EDIT: Also my slide dosnt go fully foward unless pushed. About 4mm-5mm back. Â I could take pics if you want, but how would I fix this? Â When the mag is out it works extremely smooth and perfect. Edited January 6, 2009 by ChrisWPA
sekiryu
Man, I just bought a TM M1911A1, and now I'm gonna have to get a Detonics to stuff away when the *suitcase* hits the fan. Edited January 7, 2009 by sekiryu

I'm having trouble with mine not doing it and its really annoying as I'm used to the 26 shots from my TM mags so I keep on dry firing after the 15 in the WE/SG

I only shot 1 and a half mags through it at room temperature. Haven't really had a chance to shoot it much, since it was dark outside, late at night, and didn't want to make a bunch of noise in the house haha.
Clockwork_O
Being a big fan of WA guns and the SFA V12 and since the Prime V12 is sold out everywhere I decided to make another v12 (I already have a V12 fm gilded) using the best custom and WA parts.(in my opinion) This is just an interim look of the v12, it will be silver pretty soon with more custom parts and other grips...  FRAME: - PGC meu frame - Springfield Combat Hammer - steel sear - upgraded hammer spring - SCW2 based frame - RS wooden grips  SLIDE - WA magna based - Prime metal SPringfield V12 ported slide (thanks to the cleaner) - SCW3 fixed hop - upgraded recoil spring - one piece guide rod - bomar sight - V12 ported barrel (Gilded)   Edited January 7, 2009 by Clockwork_O
