kliskey
Already on its way - But I cant get the damn ras on - Im a noob.
rizzini7
Kliskey, Lever the C clip off near the bolt , just back from the mount. Last time i fitted a ras to a socom i had to lightly bend the bit that its held under at the front of the gun in order to get the ras to click into place. But it may have just been that gun Edited May 3, 2008 by rizzini7
Beast06
It took me about 3 or 4 hours to fit my VFC M14 RAS to mine
tmas
Finally got my trusty old TM M14 back from the shop (hard to believe I've had it for a year and a half) after it stripped its piston, and, as a result, was finally able to have both my M14's together at a game yesterday. And there was much rejoicing. To celebrate that and me being home finally: Wood is a heavily upgraded TM (shooting at legal US limit), painted is a CYMA upgraded (shooting at around 370). The CYMA is THE best value I have ever gotten in airsoft. $400 cheaper than the TM and performs almost as well...

BoE.Solidius
Is this achievable in AEG terms? I am not a fan of the EBR kit and I am looking into M14s but I wanted to make a TM M14 look like this, grip, 5 point stock with Battery. Do they make M1A SOCOM kits for M14s in Airsoft? or If possible tell me what I will need. And do STAR M14 MID caps fit in TM's I have heard bad things about them. davedawg123
No VLTOR modstock versions (first 2 pics) are available as of yet. I believe Star will be releasing a full AEG of the Troy MCS soon (last pic). No word on TM mag compatibility. Your other choice is a G&P Mk14 Mod 1 conversion kit. Tallbloke
Your grass looks nice and green I wish I could take credit for that - but alas I can't.... Following getting a rear extension I had to buy some new turfs - that grass is about 6 weeks old and only ever had 1 hair cut... give it time and it'll die off! kliskey
Lol, oh well, mine is covered in alien mosses and is yellow - Thats the South East for you Ok, well ive managed to attach the RAS, however, it looks a bit wonky - So more modding is needed - In any case, here is a quick pic My silencer and Bipod adaptor have just been shipped, so hopefully this time next week she will be complete

Brother Decimus
looks nice kliskey. I think you'd be better off buying a cheap G&P scope mount and then mounting the scope forwards a bit. Also add a cheek pad of some sort. This way you can rest your cheek and still have the eye relief if the scope is mounted forward. Its coming together nicely though. davedawg123
There's also the Trigger Happy MK14 kit that takes M4 stocks. Yeah, forgot about that... probably because its an inaccurate representation of the mod 1. But it's plenty cheaper than the G&P kit.

Eh, for what it is, considering the price, construction, and look, it's not bad at all.

gonzo1
Pretty sure I've seen Rustoleum makes a ultra-flat, camo colors line. Haven't used it, though.

The Crunchy Bunny
Nice Chillin. what scope is that? G&G M14 owners, have any of you had trouble taking off your flashider? Mine won't budge. Any ideas on how to solve this?
chaoswithinthed
Heat it up with a hairdrier and use ALOT of force. The actual flash hider doesn't unscrew, you have to take off the whole front sight in the process. That little castle nut comes unscrewed. DP
davedawg123
There might be grub screw blocking the castle nut from turning.
