Victory
I like it. It'll eventually find it's home on an M4, but I can see it being used on just about any gun. (A Sig 552 came to mind as I was typing this. Don't know why.) Build construction is pretty good. For $70 (or whatever it was, can't remember), it could have been a little better, but I'm not picky. I'm pretty well pleased by it. The uber-modular-ness of it makes up for that. Finish on the metal is decent. It's a little rough on the edges, and there are seam lines on the plastic. Overall, I'd give it a 7.5/10. Maybe an 8. Haven't used it on the field yet, so I'll update accordingly. -Vic
The Crunchy Bunny
Hmm, doesn't sound bad. I just don't have a use for it now.
Fellowz
has anyone used any of these on their M14?
Kraut
has anyone used any of these on their M14? http://www.wgcshop.com/WGC_Shop/images/ka_sc_14_l.jpg Oh. My. God! Thank you for posting this! I've used a real one ($900!) on an AR and wanted it for my DMR I'm building. I had no idea there was a replica out there! Thank you thank you thank you! NegativeCambre
Fellowz... I'm curious on the eye-relief of that scope... I doubt it could be used as a ranch-gun like sight on the standard SOCOM rail... but hopefully the eye relief would e better then an Acog...
Kraut
On the real version I used eye relief was about 3", so SOCOM mounting is pretty much out of the question.
Fellowz
lucky i dont have a SOCOM then Edited September 28, 2008 by Fellowz
Ceriph
@ Fellowz Testing my new TM M14 SOCOM scope setup in CQB (was not happy with RD on the front or rear rail and did change the barrel cover): How about some pics? @Fellowz if you go back a couple posts you can see that style optic on some socoms. Just PM those guys and I'm sure you can get all the info you'll need I know quoting pics is a tsk tsk, but i figured that was the easiest way to show.
Fellowz
dude your a life saver the last pic ive been hunting around for ages and couldnt find it. 100 pages i went through on the MK1 thread and nothing or am i just blind? cheers helped alot.
Apache137
the mcmillan stock is nice, but w/e crumpet posted is ugly.... thats a sick paintjob in the quote above.... reminds me of souske
AirsoftAddict
That is one sick spray job, how was it done??
Ceriph
I do love that paint job, I'm thinking of something like that for my EBR which is soon to come. I'm just glad i could help. In my opinion the mount on the 2nd socom is a bit high for that scope, i think a lower profile would help "blend" the optic into the rifle.
si3n4
Paint job is pretty good, though not my cup of tea...
fishsquatch
Paratrooper M14 Project Update. Repainted black. Stick battery installed in stock (to make space I cut off the gas-slide and fused it to the charging arm). Specter 3-point sling.

Carter
I like it a lot! I love that stock. Also, I love how it's shorter than the full length M14, but longer than the SOCOM.
sf_cheng
its actually the same length as a socom i think...?
SpoonMan
sf cheng, I really like that silencer, where did you get it?
sf_cheng
sf cheng, I really like that silencer, where did you get it? VFC / GB-Tech M14DC Silencer for Marui M14 Its discontinued in a lot of places, but I think you can find them around if you look hard enough. Kingarms makes the same model too.
