Horsem4n
carter, only that one M14 from star was the SOPMOD, the rest of their EBR M14s were EBRs, not SOPMODs. but anyway, since STAR/ARES also sells that type of M14, it was a tough guess.
Carter
Whoops. I guess my M14-fu was weaker than I thought. Apologies.
Fellowz
my contribution still unsure on the optic choice i have a question regarding the bolt on scope rails for the reciever, are they level with the SOC 16 Forward rail or is it higher? i have an idea i just need to be sure it will work
SpoonMan
Looks good with the T1 there, but maybe a riser would help the aesthetics?
Fellowz
i might ditch the T1 and get a DYTAC Micro Reflex Sight w/ AD Style QD Mount and a magnifyer see how that looks, im after a multi role weapon rather than the DMR role which alot of people do on here for M14's
Lone_Bullet
Weren't Dytac sights and sightmounts considdered utter poo? :s I might be wrong though, if so, apologies
NeoVeNoM
did some work on my EBR, Though not satisfied with the colour. THe Krylon came out way to light. Installed a Magpul MIAD as well.
Horsem4n
tome, it looks nice. but its the difference between tan and dark earth. i dont think magpul makes anything in tan.
NeoVeNoM
that is a King Arms M1 scope. I don't know it for sure. Simply bought it because it was practical and has very good eye relief.

Mr Foxhound
I personally think the two shades make it look better. More unique.
my_plague_666
interesting, thats the second EBR ever to appeal to me (the first being ledpocket's ultra shorty EBR) nice work, although it needs some colour matching and ladder rail covers IMO
NeoVeNoM
experimented again. this is supposed to be brown green from Begadi. Really, any body know a color that is almost the same tan as Magpul? You simply can't deny that they have a very good tan color. I did found good green that almost matches Foliage green. it's English green from FOSCO industries. and the grip panels look very good now.
ctres94
I know that one of the brownells alumahyde colors is nearly identical to FDE, but I am not sure what color it is, and whether you could get ahold of it, as sometimes aerosols cannot be shipped overseas. ctres94
this forum lists a couple of different options, maybe it will help. http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=4441 mods, I know that the link is to a rs forum, but it's only regarding paint, so I hope it is acceptable. Dagonet
New to the brotherhood, just got a CA M14 Scout, sort of a impulse buy from a online gaming teenager that was too lazy to lug it about all day and the video game ones shoot through walls and everything, so right place right time and i got this beast. Wont be using it until the end of the month, for now it needs a clean, and the barrel really needs a clean (teenager didnt have manual or cleaning rod, lost them). Got an Enfield sling that fits and a Red dot to put on, other than that going to leave alone until i play a game, maybe a bi-pod or AFG later on.
