Npas and OEM barrel and bucking for now. I don't know what barrel length I want yet for sub 400fps.

Ivan le Fou
M14 WE: Now I need to find a way to remove the front sling mount in order to mount a bipod.
DeltaZero
Just screws off doesn't it?
PureSilver
I think it's commonly accepted the only decent way to put a bipod on the wood/fibreglass M14/M1A stocks is Sadlak's QD post assembly.
Ivan le Fou
Just screws off doesn't it? Nope, WE riveted the front sling swivel. There is a hole in front of it for a bipod mount thingy, but I had in mind to mount the bipod not that far. I'll have to find a way.

That's exactly what I need. How to you order it though?

I'll have to find a way. That's actually a drain hole. You can put a bipod stud there (King Arms sell just such a thing) but the stock is so thin there and it's so far down the gun there's not a lot of material to resist the lever action of the rest of the gun. Oh yes, yes yes yes. That's exactly what I need. How to you order it though? Amazon and Brownells have 'em.
shmook
It's been a while... Cyma M14 socom in a JAE stock. Believe it is a kart stock Edited February 27, 2016 by shmook
DeltaZero
I would absolutely love one of those Kart JAE stocks.. I've been after a black one to paint wolf grey for years!
shmook
I got lucky and bought mine on its own a few years ago. Not seen one since!
scorch
I'd have one of those in a heartbeat. I'd probably have it just like yours tbh.
hitmanNo2
They look stunning in grey all tacticool'd up.
Ivan le Fou
That JAE stock is beautiful. So... I managed to disassemble my M14 WE (f*ck WE and their overly tightened pins), remove the front sling mount (why would you even rivet that?!) and purchased the SADLAK mount base (thank you again PureSilver!). Stock and heat-shield have been sanded, not I just have to get my hands on some paint and... you'll be able to enjoy the result. Hopefully.
