Sleepy_UK
Cheers fella!... If you remember how small my flat was, well now appears smaller due to his stuff all over hahaha... But I figured one M14 won't take all the room in the world Here is an old pic of my TM M14 at an AMS milsim:
Moosey47
Haha, I know they take over. My brother lives just up the road from you and his place is a minefield of baby stuff! That new M14 of yours musta cost a packet!
Sleepy_UK
Well it hasn't yet but next week when I get paid it will... To be fair it isn't much more than what a TM M14 costs new, although I am very tempted by the WE EBR, pricey but surely worth it
Blackjack13
Rizzini7 that's a thing of beauty! If you don't mind me asking what make is the stock? And has anything been done to it? I'm looking at rejoining the M14 brotherhood (having sold my old one) via Namsoft, so am looking to get wood.
rizzini7
Cant beat a good bit of wood . I just came back to the brotherhood aswel (yet again). As for stock make im now sure what make it is. Its a very good solid quality one. Only mrkings on it is a P near the pistol grip area. When you say has anything been done did you mean the stock or m14 ? The stock doesnt appear to have had any sanding done inside and fits like a glove. As for the gun its fitted with: Full Gaurder tune up kit and cut off lever Prometheus tightbore AB Mosfet Firefly hop rubber G&P Ebr front set KA Silencer G&P Reciever G&P RAS G&P M3 Scope G&P Scope mounts KA Doctor sight 11.1v 2800mah lipo Locked to 425 semi auto Dont forget to post youre WE up Sleepy when it arrives. Im well jealous

rizzini7
Always like the G&P Sniper ebr kit which had ebr front end and solid stock. Never managed to find one in stock tho
Sleepy_UK
I never knew G&P done that version, I only knew Ares to produce it... Good to know though
rizzini7
Yeah, was about three years ago i was going to order one direct from G&P (no longer listed) Via Firesupport. Think theres a site in the USA that sells them. But cant remember the model code or website at the moment
Moosey47
Pic from today. First time she's seen action and of course it rained!
Bane
With the plethora of wood stocked and EBR M14's turning up i went for something different.. Still needs a little bit of work, but overall pleased with the result. Because NZ is quite lush native bush i went for a darker-than-normal green (Looks very much like a SV-98 color) dappled with black. With flash Grip was stippled using a 0-size pozidrive screwdriver tip held in a 80watt soldering iron to provide a slight "Cross' Shape, gives great grip. Original stock was a KART JAE-100, i seperated the halves and used fibreglass and a polyester resin to reinforce inside. Is rock solid.
Lajjvo
Bane: That looks really really good. I've been in love with those JAE stocks since I first saw them a few years ago.
Don Vido
Cool, but I don´t like the green.
Touchette
Are you using the same KART internals? or did you replace them with something else?
Bane
Are you using the same KART internals? or did you replace them with something else? Everything bar the stock and the rail is G&P. I just wanted a change in stock to something less common. So i went with what i could find (KART JAE-100) and threw all the KART externals and internals in the bin. The rail is Cyma, as for the color, i like it as it works well for NZ, if i could find a decent OD green i'd use that, but i find it highly irritating seeing the plethora of Dark Earth and tan loadouts in a country as green as this. Same as people using ACU - they stick out so bad its not funny.
Doc Fuller
TM M-14 cut down to scout. Had her sold her and am trying now to replace her....

double_a
Nice. Love the USGI stock.
danielsilva
That's darn beautiful tinydata ... making me helluva jealous since i cannot get those goodies around here
ManMarin3
Nice one Tinydata, just finished mine also, WE m14 in a refurbinshed USGI stock with a KA tri-rail
tinydata
manmarin3, that's a gorgeous M14 The only thing that will make it better is MORE LINSEED OIL!
heavri
Manmarin3, how you modded tri-rail?
ManMarin3
Manmarin3, how you modded tri-rail? i didn't really, only the part that screws onto the receiver i dremmelled down to make it fit as the gap is a lot smaller than the bit on the WE, the rest is just held in by the collar up front, also used a bolt from my MOE rails as it was a bit beefier and easier to torque tighter than the KA screw. @tinydata, yeah not a bad idea, also, would a RS op rod or any other parts fit? i find the WE one ugly as sin.
tinydata
I don't think the real parts fit. WE made everything different on the inside. Besides, using quality american steel would probably wreck WE potmetal

So i went with what i could find (KART JAE-100) and threw all the KART externals and internals in the bin. Did it require much modding to make the G&P receiver/internals fit?
