mikoyan99
Got my KSC yesterday: Very happy with it; will be trying to convert some CA hi-caps at some point, or source some JLS ones (if I can). Also going to fit a claw mount and carry handle. -Matt
BigAl
THe KSC one's look and feel fantastic don't they?
mikoyan99
THe KSC one's look and feel fantastic don't they? Indeed; the only gribble is the stock which is a bit wobbly. Is it the same type as the G3 stock? -Matt
eddy909
My CA MP5s sliding stock wobbles slightly, I think it's just inherent to the design
Vercingetorix
My CA MP5s sliding stock wobbles slightly, I think it's just inherent to the design Yeah My ICS Mp5 stock is a bit wobbly too..... How is the aircocking system thingy?
mikoyan99
Air cocking is very satisfying. It's handy to be able to use the gun with no battery (although one was included in the box); it's funny how after years of using aeg's, springers can be quite satisfying for a bit of backyard plinking. Brings back fond memories of running round my mates garden in cheap german combats, wielding £5 springers from the market The only thing with the pre-cocking is that it's very unnerving - it sounds like a gas blowback when you fire it, and completelky differently to any other aeg i've used. It looks to me like RS mp5 bits will fit; with any luck, i'll pick up a few interesting bits and we'll see where we go from there. -Matt

snipe
Sorry if this is the wrong place but i just bought a plastic jg 416 and im wondering if any of you know where i can get a JG metal body?
The Crunchy Bunny
Any MBK's work, Hurricane makes a nice one wit 416 trades.
snipe
Im trying to find a cheaper alternative though thats the thing. Spending $150 on a body for a $100 gun doesnt make much sence to me lol I just wasnt sure if JG sold just the bodies
CapaciousZepher
Dboys make some inexpensive metal bodies. Cheers! - CapaciousZepher
snipe
But they are traditional M4 bodies thats my issue. I need a metal 416 body not M4 body. M4 bodies arent raised like the 416 is thus this is what it looks like. So Im trying to find an actual 416 metal body not just an M4 with trademarks Edited December 28, 2008 by snipe
Victory
Isn't the receiver on the HK416 taller than that of a standard M4? -Vic Edit: Beat me to the punch. I don't think JG sells their HK416 bodies separately as of now. Edited December 28, 2008 by Victory

BigAl
Sell the plastic gun by metal one. Price isn't that bad anyway.
Victory
I don't like asking questions (especially like this one) in picture threads, but, I don't think this question would warrant a whole thread. The HK416 gas block w/flip up front sight...is it possible to remove the front sight? Via a screw or pin removal, that is. I'd like to avoid cutting if possible. I'd imagine it is removable. I just want to be sure before I purchase one. Thanks everyone. -Vic Edit: Also, how does it attach to the barrel? Via the standard two pins that, say, the M4 has? PlasticMag
Yes it is possible to remove, and yes it attaches with two pins. http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?products_id=1153 As seen here.
