Â I'm the one who painted it up so I'll answer that, only one coat of pink for the base, two for the darker pink, the white was the hard part, about 3 or 4 coats of white, it didn't want to stick to the darker colors, I suppose I should use primer next time. I had to take a dremil to everything. The battery is still way to big for the body, so the two halves don't meet at the top. But the top rail covers that up. Â Pkekyo-nor, where did you get those metal HK mags from? they dont look like high caps... or am i mistaken. Kitting my HK416 up with black mags will run off with about $350 of mine, so I'm running it two-tone with the stuff I allready have at the moment. Pkekyo-Nor Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 There might be mid-caps as well, I haven't looked into that, as I don't have a need for them myself. Be warned that the KA mags might require for you to expand the upper part of the magazine shell for it to stay properly lodged in the magwell. This doesn't affect the aesthetics nor the feeding of the magazines though, so if you're willing to get your hands slightly dirty, you'll be just fine. Link to post Share on other sites
