completely different. the AKSU needs a stick battery, plus the ICS bolt doesnt fit due to the bolt thingies holding the rear sight on and it wobbles a lot.

A couple of my own here ... both are full metal and wood and weigh so much that my arms ache after skirmishing ...

Both are externally wired to a 9.6V and have a pretty good ROF. Both have tightbores and use stock gearboxes etc.

Both are also solely made of components that are sourced from China without exception.

It pains me to look at this thread everyday.....multiple times.

Has anyboby tackled an RPKS74 yet? If I can source the front furniture, I plan on converting a Kalash using a US made synthetic stock. I'm currently turning an ICS into an RPK74 (don't ask, the thing was dirt cheap) and I've been cursing their trunion design trying to fit the stock on there securely,

RPK74 midcaps? They have been listening to us! Though i would of thought you would get more than 140 rounds in it, single stacked i imagine.

nope, MAG mids just have one less corner so they can feed better.

as for the RPKS it cant really be done, the RPKS uses a different stock release/locking system to an AKS. the button is in the back of the reciever.

Erkänn att du brukar smörja in piporna med vaselin och vapenfett och krypa ner under täcket och mysa ända fram till gryningen.

I got my CA SLR today....

It feels much skinnier than my M16. I shot about 20 rounds and it locked up, but luckily the retailer OregonAirsoftSupply is very close and they are just giving me a brand new one. Even though it doesn't shoot I'm still impressed, its a cool gun and shot well while it did. Will take pictures when I get my new one ^_^

kaptenn your furniture looks awesome ;)

Anyway, i Afganed up my AKSU (silvered parts that were suppose to be silver, put on the strap and removed the scope mail (makes it look surprisingly different and beat it up a bit more) Pictures dont do justice :( Sling is currently buried in garden :)
