AK & Variants Picture Thread

Recommended Posts

I think Jumprefusal is referring to how some airsofters often get a random weapon with a random type of camo and try to make themselves look like a special forces type...Though, I'm sure there's a logical reason as to why he's dressed like that and using the weapon he is. To me, it looks like Flecktarn with those fancy US velcro things on the sleeves...lol I'm horrible at western gear.

Very nice Type 56, not keen on the waffles but nice :) Now beat the ###### out of it

The CR-21 uses a very similar gas system to the AK series but a photo wouldn't go here (because if we allowed that there would be loads of guns here which dont look like AKs but there are many using a AK style gas system) ;)

I don't get it.

Sorry I shouldn't have said Iraqi Army, but the picture is most definetly Iraq. He probably isn't an Iraqi soldier for the reason he has no facial hair.

The point was the forward grip, that's the first time I've seen that sort of setup away from airsoft (and I've been in the Army 7 years, twice to Iraq and once to the Stan).

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the new Iraqi police camo. He might be a western adviser.

How can you ruin a Inokatsu kit with using a wrong mag :o

Ruin What? Thats the f***king mag it came with. The Kalash has a TM mag yes, but the Inokatsu is using the OEM mag it came with. If anyone ruined it CALL Inokatsu.

Onslaught-

I bought the RK01 a few months ago so i am uncertain if it is indeed full steel. The guts are nothing to be impressed of but rest assured that the inokatsu AKMS had the same XYT gears. The externals are not nearly as impressive as the VFC, Inokatsu or guarder kits BUT it is a fraction of the price. Ive seen some battle worn RK01s that do look nice (but then again a worn ak is always nice). I guess its the work you put into it. There is no denying it though, it is what it is... a cheap fun gun.

Where did you buy it from? If it was from anywhere outside of HK then it is the old semi-steel version. If it was from HK then there is a possibility it is full steel, but I'm sure you would have seen that in the title when you were ordering it.

INSAS, that's pretty hideous. It is next to impossible unless you can machine all the bits yourself

as.jpg

Yes, I know, but the indian in me wants to make a proper Indian Army loadout........INSAS.jpg

It looks halfway decent in Synthetic furniture... and it looks like they (the Indian military) might be making a newer completely "modernized" o rebuilt bulpup one... Won't look like this though thank god... Seems to look a bit like the Tavor-21

If those hand guards you have on the rk01 are the stock kalash ones, then im positive its the full steel one, it has the vented hand guards.

ya i wasnt expecting this gun to be as good as those high name brands, but with enough work into it, you can make kalash ak's look really nice..

heres an example:

NOT MY PICTURE, THIS IS LOVECRAFT25'S AK

kalash RK01 with a few parts added.
