Snigel
My camera didn't really catch the green, so it looks all grey It's a base of tan and then dusted OD over it.

sc0rp10n
Snigel I'm totally digging that RASII. I just sold mine a while back for a CASV and after seeing your setup, I almost regret the sale
Snigel
Thx guys! I got the RASII in a trade long ago
fr00b
Couldn't wait for CQB front ends for the star to become widely available, so i guess this is a practice paintjob. Got a VFC M4QD suppressor just ordered off wgc so it's even more pointless to have done my painting today rather than after it arrives, but nevermind.
Spartan XV
Heres my VSR, I really love it but unfortunately its for sale, any reasonable offers accepted

PlasticMag
Hmmm... For some reason, I'm not feeling that one. Looks too much like baby puke.
Souske
Haha, but it works for me! I remember you called one of my paintjobs from a year and half ago "African dysentery" as well, lol. I suppose "baby puke" isn't too bad compared to that.
PlasticMag
Ah yes, the African Savannah paintjob. Still haven't got around to painting my blaster yet, I'm going through external parts like a Spitzer in a whorehouse. Edited March 13, 2008 by PlasticMag
Souske
Ohhh man...that analogy is so wrong, lolol. I'm surprised you remembered what I labeled the paint job as too. What general colors are you going to use again? Is it greenside or arid/desert? Edited March 13, 2008 by Souske
PlasticMag
I couldn't help remembering, it scarred my retinas! The paint job is a mix of temperate and arid - a tan or light brown undercoat with a dark brown midcoat and green final layer. If I pull it off right, the green will balance with the light brown/tan while the midcoat accents and blends the two. I'm looking at a mix of netting and leaves, mostly macro-distortion instead of micro distortion like your pattern above. In any case, I'm waiting on a G&P PEQ2 and for the new MIAD model to come out before I begin painting.

Souske
Last set of pictures, Got lazy and didn't repaint the M203. I don't plan on repainting it either, it'll work as is. CQBR
GuzziHero
O hai gaiz! Can I play? The gun is the Mk2 Guzziwerkz MP-16. Body from my DBoys SPR, with Dboys accessories. Painted with Plastikote metallic blue. After cutting the stock tube off the lower receiver, the paint was rubbed a bit (should have done it before spraying in hindsight). I touched it up without heating the job and it crazy-paved. I like how it looks but would have preferred it all smooth like the upper receiver still is. As it is Id probably do the top half the same if I could guarantee a consistent finish. --- Souske...that is about the most amazing paintscheme Ive ever seen on a gun I am SO loving that! One Q though - if the scenario was fighting drug barons, would you have marijuana leaves sprayed on for camo?
