kojak
Thanks BigAl, that's my baby! The Arctic Warfare stock is actually striped Field Drab and OD, even though it looks like a solid color in my photo. I've used Krylon, Rust-Oleum, and Alumahyde camo paints pretty extensively and Aervoe is my current favorite for ease of use. Fun Fact: those guns both use the exact same inner barrel. Ivan, that's my humble A&K M249 that I bought JUST before the A&K MK46 was announced. The only A&K parts left are the receiver, outer barrel, and gearbox shell. Tommygunn
Both nice looking guns. They've got that dirty, rough and ready look. Agent, Is the barrel bent or is the camera lens distorting the picture? Tom.
Agent Hunk
It might be bent some. Still trouble shooting its attachment.
DanHS
A couple quick shots of a well Mb06/ Echo-1 ASR I did for a friend, he still needs to get a scope for it that I can paint to match.

TheFull9
I've seen that sugar trick used before for painting the insides of small sailing boats, pretty clever idea.
RasmusDS
Sugar? Won't that get a bit sticky in the summer? Or did you put on a final coat of resin?
TheFull9
You wash it all out afterwards, just leaves lots of small ridges/rises in the paint for a nice textured surface.
Bladerider
My first saw nice and heavy too for an airsoft gun, might repaint it but its nicely worn in. What you's think?? Need a few dummy rounds and painted scope

Murdoc
I've seen that sugar trick used before for painting the insides of small sailing boats, pretty clever idea. Me too, but on windsurfs(from the 80')
sigma3
Looks good, Bladerider... I recommend against resting it on the boxmag like that, though... the magazine mount isn't always the strongest point to put all that weight on! You got a perfectly good bipod right there!
Bladerider
@sigma3 cheers mate Mag is nice and tight on mount so seems pretty solid, stripped it today and still has the original CA piston and plastic head. Re-greased and fitted a madbull tb.......gun jammed and stripped the piston hop nub must of gone in ar*eways.....joy

TheFull9
Sorry for the cross-posting folks, but this is one of my favourite threads to browse and I figured it could always use more content, hope you guys don't mind. Anyway, here's my ACR. Krylon, brit issue laundry bag and some foliage from an evergreen tree in my garden. Hopefully it looks better than plain FG.
