dog green 1
Do you use any dissolvent or others to achieve the chipped of paint effects ? For things like that you can use Maskol before you apply your final coats. When finished it rubs off revealing the colour underneath. There several techniques all of which modellers use. dog green 1
Another Tan paint commission. This time on the Specna A05.
dog green 1
Rather picture heavy this one as it was a bit of a major commission. The case was a first for GearTech but was certainly more work than I expected and took a lot more hours than I bargined for. Still it turned out nice and compliments the other bits. Gunmane
Excellent as always. Frankly I am surprised someone hasn't handed you a XR-5 yet.

Rogue845
Very nicely done Rogue. Thanks mate, it was an ACR that I think you did that inspired me to try this with mine. I should really invest in an airbrush. That kind of pattern using four colours took a lot of spray paint and left a thick layer on the sprayed parts. you can feel the ridges in he pattern. I was being careful too. Doing traditional camo patterns freehand is much less paint intensive.
GRIM!
Figured this fits here aswell. Since theres not metal kits for the KWA vz61 i painted it to look like weathered steel. Along with some real parts as the stock and grip. Edited April 5, 2017 by GRIM!

renegadecow
Not airsoft, but I've been experimenting a lot with finishes on my squirt gun in anticipation of the actual bb slinging build. Looks like this is it.
