AG1212
Bro, that is awesome. Most paint-jobs of the same vain usually seem tacky to me, but that is badass.
TerranCmdr
Love it, very tasteful and not overdone. I'm tempted to do something similar with an ATACS pattern...
Atsalakotos
Has anyone used Montana mat spray paint on their guns? Is it just as good as Krylon?
chas
Mine are painted with Mobtana 94, their matte line of paint. Not as durable as krylin they say, but a few fine layers will do. Just note that their flat black is shiny, so get ebony brown (marron ebano), which really us flat matte black. The cool thing is you can remove the paint with alcogol. scorch
A guy who did a custom bullpup M14 build did. I forget which user it was though, have a look in the project suggestions section if you want to see the end results.
Atsalakotos
Ok thanks guys, I will look into it. So, if I decide to buy Krylon can you guys suggest any shops in Europe? I know Firesupport in the UK carries them, but its overseas and shipping is a bit high, for just spray paint...

Docv400
Has anyone used Montana matt spray paint on their guns? Is it just as good as Krylon? I've used the Montana Gold range and am very impressed with the finish, huge range of colours available too, I'll never pay over the odds for Krylon again! It's best to use a primer designed for use on plastics before applying as well (on plastic parts). Edited September 29, 2012 by Docv400

ewashbrook
I think that SVD could do with some Matte Varnish... Very nice otherwise though!!! EDIT: Somehow forgot about polished wood for a second there, so my whole post may well be invalid... Edited October 24, 2012 by ewashbrook
