johny_blaze
My 2nd and 3rd attempt a stippling. Both done on a KJW G19 ABS version. I'm in the process of resculpting my spare Stark Arms G19 frame but I'm gonna wait for the UAC tool to arrive before I stipple it.
Wynthorpe
Yes, it's created typically by using a wood burning tool with a multi-pin head. There are all sorts but it's usually something shaped like the head of a nail with a texture on it. Can you give me a link of where to find these? Really struggling. johny_blaze
Can you give me a link of where to find these? Really struggling. I searched for something similar after my two attempts at making a tip myself ended up less than satisfactory but didn't find anything so I ordered the UAC stippling tool - http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/uac-texture-grip-stippling-tool-type-a.html#.VNn2feaUdHE (Thanks to NonEx for that one)

Pkekyo-Nor
SAI G19 gen4 Tier 1 (WE G23) What kind of tip did you use for that stipple job? Just ordered a SAI slide kit and ALG Defense magwell for my 17, and it needs a nice stippling like yours.
Dj_komodo
Thank you! This is the one I used, a regular 10 dollar soldering iron with a not that pointy tip, dont forget to sand down and shape the frame before you start stippling=)
Pkekyo-Nor
I've got the same *suitcasey* quality kind of soldering iron as well, but it has the front end of a flat-head screwdriver as a tip, so I've got to find something else to replace it with.Definitely going to have a go at stippling some rail covers before I start melting my pistol. Just go all out and do the frame like i did haha, frames are cheap enough and to me doing a frame was totally different than an old rail cover etc. @Dj_Komodo is that the GM trigger? Mine should be here tomorrow, whats it like to fit?
Dj_komodo
no its the Ace 1 arms one. But I honestly think that the Guns Modify one is better, it has a smother trigger safety. The fitting is no problems at all, its a little fiddly to attach the trigger safety along with the little spring and pin but other than that its rather easy...

PureSilver
... OK, I give in. What do plant trays have to do with GLOCK?

PureSilver
... They're both black, plastic, and if you showed either to a girl on a first date you wouldn't get a second? I'm really struggling to see the connection.
FireKnife
... They're both black, plastic, and if you showed either to a girl on a first date you wouldn't get a second? I'm really struggling to see the connection. You would be surprised how many chicks like guns. But maybe it is a test to see if it still works like those countless YT videos of Glocks firing after basically being *suitcase* on and then left for it to dry and cake on? Got Wood?
Haha. It was supposed to be this picture: I don't know why, but tapatalk keeps giving me a weird error where I upload a picture, and someone else's picture gets embedded! I don't have a picture like that in my collection, and I definitely didn't upload it! Sorry guys! Edited February 18, 2015 by Got Wood?

-wigs-
Also in random news, all upper parts for a we g19 will fit and work in a g17, as well as guarder hammer, slide stop and trigger ( though I'm swapping it for something different) As long as it's made for Marui parts they have fit for me so far with little to no modding
Wynthorpe
Well im kinda happy with how its all turned out, hopefully will be a lot better on the stipple job when the new lower arrives. Edited February 19, 2015 by Wynthorpe
NonEx
Pimped my dull HK Glock 19 GEN4 frame with some semi-gloss clear-coat for the logo and markings to make it look more "real". Not perfect, but better than before.
