Glock Picture Thread

Recommended Posts

I've barely fondled this one yet.  I have a 'beater' untraded SA G17 Gen3 that I keep in a draw at work to do repetitions on reloads etc when I feel like practicing and yeah, the wear on the upper front portion of the barrel is noticeable and doesn't take long to appear, but it's not nearly as bad as the huge patch of missing paint on my CG/SA M&P9.

Not something that bothers me personally though, so I accept it as a reasonable flaw given the accuracy of the trades and the frame for the low entry price.

And my first attempt at stippling is...not too shabby, as it turns out.

My first glock, marui g17 foliage green with the guns modify SAI slide set. Phone picture.

Stock TM frame finally breaks after so many years so this one is quick and dirty to keep down time minimal I didn't even completely knock down the stock texture on front/back straps   This is

This makes me want a glock, ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fap. Problem is sourcing that slide, hah.

Apologies to your wallet.  I think this is the right one isn't it?

Nice CKinnerley, quick question: how is the wear on the outer barrel (top of chamber and barrel part)? On my SA G19 it's a pain in the 'eye'.. :/

Pretty bad on my G19 as well. I even put my plastic barrel back in (the gun seems to run a tad smoother with it).

And since this is a picture thread - a crappy phone pic of my spare frame mid-transformation:

Went heavier on the re-sculpting of the backstrap, trigger guard and mag release scaloop, also filed the thumb grooves. Most of the heavy dremel work is done but still have quite a bit of sanding before it's ready for stiplling.

And another one (though this one's RS) - G17 cut down to G19 length with an H&K cut.

Maniac... Always a pleasure to see your guns!

I remember this one when you first build it and I remember some mods you did to it.

It still looks fantastic!!

Yeah I've seen its a screw on the newer models. Whilst this one doesn't depress fully (a fault shared with the real unit, hence the screw change) it is fairly stuff, and unless I'm rubbing my pistol up against stuff I'm fairly confident it's not going anywhere. I'll keep an eye out for the newer mount section on its own though
